I'm loving your videos! And yes I subscribed. :) I was recently in Madrid and noticed that the waiters provide excellent service in the beginning and then they stop checking on you after your meal is served. We wanted more drinks, several times and of course, the check, but we would have to hunt someone down to get their attention. In the US, I noticed that waiters make eye contact and look for if you need them, many times in Madrid, they don't do this, so it's hard to get their attention. Any thoughts? I would think the purpose is to sell more food and alcohol. It didn't seem like it mattered many times. We understand that people like to linger and enjoy themselves for quite a while. We did this too but sometimes wanted more things. Even so, we had an amazing time and can't wait to visit again!
Ive been talking to a spanish man for a long time now...im from germany nuernberg and hes from valencia...always love when he talks spanish with me on the phone ❤️🙏🏻 its such a sexy language! 😆😆 i always tell him and he laughs...im trying learning spanish for him...hes been learning english for me...hes a sweet guy! im looking forward meeting him this summer..🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🤭

I don't know what cultural shocks I had in Spain, can't think. Early on, I persuaded to somebody to teach me how to order the kind of coffee I wanted and then I was ok. In America, the coffee is EXTREMELY WEAK. That was a shock.

Yeah the being late thing is something I experienced a lot when I lived in Perú. As an American this would bother me a lot. Now I try to be more understand of the cultural difference
Sobre la ropa de deporte, creo que depende de lugar, es que he visto las diferencias de Madrid y otros lugares, como Alicante, por ejemplo. Vivia alli desde hace 6 anos y mucha gente llevaba la ropa de deporte para andar por la calle, apsear y tal. Es decir, no solamente haciendo los deportes. Y para mi eso fue lo normal. Quiza, al principio, un poco raro, pero duspes me acostumbre y... la llevaba tambien yo para andar, ir al super, etc.
No sabía que en otras partes del mundo no se podían sacar las latas o botellas individualmente, pensaba que era una cosa normal jajaja Por otro lado, qué suerte tienen en otras regiones de España... En Valencia te sacan cacaos, kikos u olivas y tienes suerte si a la segunda ronda te vuelven a sacar, porque en muchos sitios te los sirven solo con la primera ronda, si no vuelves a pedir específicamente otros cacaos ya no te los suelen sacar. De tapas gratis y eso ni hablemos, no existe jaja
No es mala idea "espanglear" para contar o explicar cosas es una buena contribución para mejorar el aprendizaje de un idioma tanto anglos como hispanos hablantes 😮
Lo de los desayunos varía dependiendo de la región de españa, por el noroeste lo mas común es bolleria, cereales y el clásico colacao o un café, aquí no tomamos pantumaca ni tortilla para desayunar nunca
@@patryruiz. Nono, si en bares y cafeteria siempre lo rutinario suele ser cafes colacaos y bolleria, sean curasanes o cosas del estilo. En cantabria si que tengo visto mas tapas y tortillas para desayunar, pero aqui en galicia siempre es bolleria y dulce, por eso me chocó un poco que por el resto de españa no sea así jjsjsjs
En Aragón es parecido. Es muy raro tomar algo salado de desayuno, suele ser bollería, zumos, colacao, café, pero lo de la tostada con tomate o tortilla para desayunar, jamás.
Discrepo con el alcohol!! La realidad es que es extremadamente caro en otros países!! Jajajaja!! Lo convierten en objeto de deseo a través del precio! Así cogen esas melopeas!! Suerte!!

No vestirán ropa deportiva pero las malagueñas van al supermercado en pijama!!! De lo más "chocante" que me encontré. Otra cosa que no esperaba encontrar es lo mal que suelen aparcar el coche. He visto coches en rotondas y sin el conductor adentro!! Excelente videi como siempre.
I believe married people in europe mostly keep their original surnames and dont adopt their husbands family name. This is true for italy, austria and germany too. I am not sue about france or holland.. Been to spain twice bacelona gerona industrial centre, loret de mar family holiday, and gibraltar with the navy border aas not open then. Been to portugal lisboa, and porto with the navy again.
