I’m so glad that the 2017 Power Rangers movie is getting more love and recognition. This was such a great movie, and if ppl didn’t put so much hate on it, we would’ve gotten a franchise!
It really was so good! We were a little worried it wouldn’t do the originals justice but they really did do a great job with it and we are super sad that they didn’t make a second or continue with it like that had planned 🫤

They were the OG Rangers that were being shown, Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy and Kimberly. Adam, Rocky, and Aisha were the 2ND Gen of Rangers to replace the OG Red, Black and Yellow Rangers. This definitely could've had a good sequel had it not bombed because everyone wanted Nostalgia instead of giving this awesome movie a chance ❤

Totally agree! The OG Rangers-Jason, Zack, Trini, Billy, and Kimberly-were iconic. Adam, Rocky, and Aisha stepping in as the 2nd Gen was a cool move, but it's a bummer the sequel didn’t happen because of all the nostalgia feels. This movie deserved more love and a real shot , I could totally see this being up to par with the Marvel cinematic universe honestly / Ranger cinematic universe would be sooooo good !

I remember seeing this when it came out in cinema, and not gonna lie, as a long time power rangers fan, when the rangers got in the zords and the theme song started playing, I think I screamed with joy. Maybw the happiest ive been in cinema
I could only imagine me and coco legit were excited when watching here I could imagine in theater I would have probably cried lol
I just love how they made the five superio students (as seen in an episiode where they where needed to teach Bulk and Skull after hours) into the schools "problem childen"........
The sequel was sadly "canceled" but if it gets enough popularity they should make a sequel. Best reaction!!!!
Total missed opportunity that could have been a hole cinematic universe we’re at the end all the Rangers come together for one final battle with their Megazords … literally goosebumps just imagining

even though i wasnt a fan of the suits or the zords over all, this movie was underrated imo. super upset it didnt get some kind of continuation
6:44 when the cops come you split in different directions and hope you don’t get caught. We had to do that in high school during our senior prank. Luckily I was running track and could do hurdles cause someone moved a ramp to a portable classroom to block the teachers parking lot and I had to hurdle it. No other option with how fast I was running. 1:05:27 I think he knows his son is the Red Ranger which is why he put that article on the fridge. Something Jason said to him when he was saving him made him realize it was him.
I thought the same thing about Jason’s father. Btw that’s crazy what you had to do to not get caught!

Although I LOVE that they showed Amy and Jason at the end, I wish the other three would have been a part of it as well... and maybe even a Thuy stunt double. Great reaction guys!

Hey When we found out they were not getting a second movie we were absolutely shocked this movie was not given a fair chance and I think it was ahead of its time they took the 90s Power Rangers and seamlessly made it into something that the people that grew up with it can grow with it they should have been like a cinematic universe for the rangers

Lmao that hilarious because we are about to watch the 1995 version today and have to out this week for everyone to watch , we are going into this only seeing it once when we were kids so I’m almost positive it’s going to a blast to watch .

Trini’s mom: She’s not on drugs she’s pregnant, that’s probably why she couldn’t stay calm.
Actually this Bryan Cranston 3rd role in the franchise he was the voice of sinzzard and Minator hope you react to the 30th anniversary once and always it came to Netflix last year with most of the mighty Morphin original actors
being from Asia i sadly had never grew up with Power Ranger but rather it original Japanese version being Super Sentai
but in more recent time i did check out some of the power ranger and they are quite fun despite how different of a vibe it give compare to sentai
this movie was one of the thing that i check out and while it have it problem it was a very fun movie and it is nice seeing a Tokusatsu adaptation with actual CGI (still have some problem but it is what it is ) and not just suit and cgi for a weekly made tv show
the only other case were Shin Ultraman and Shin Kamen Rider which are all made by the same guy being remake of 60s-70s show, there is also Godzilla too but he have made it into good CGI for a while now

@@Kindalameshow There is Zyuranger which is what Power Ranger is based on but it is an older show, many of the late 90s to mid 2000 Sentai show all got adapted into Power Ranger tbh though all Sentai show are standalone
For newer more new fan friendly show then there is show like King Ohger which have just end recently
For movie sadly there aren't really any good standalone movie for Super sentai unlike it cousin series Kamen Rider with Shin Kamen Rider recently or Godzilla cousin series having Shin Ultraman
The reason is mainly because most of those movie are sequel and crossover

@@Kindalameshow it is always great to get more people into Tokusatsu as a genre since while usually get called a genre for kid due to many are made for selling toy quite a lot of them have a lot of heart and charm to them, many could even get dark and have extremely well written story
@@Kindalameshowi suggest checking out Shout Factory's TokuShoutsu and Tubi. They have a lot of officially licensed Super Sentai, Kamen Rider and Ultraman seasons.
Trini was the first yellow ranger
The movie didn't do well because the IP had stagnated, quite a lot. Also, they blew $50M on marketing in China, alone, when they actively reject anything with Japanese origins.
So, Netflix are rebooting it with interconnected series and movies. Filming is rumoured to begin in 2025. It will feature an entirely original team of Rangers, rather than treading old ground. Credible sources suggest they're paying homage to the Japanese origins and making it about Japanese mythological creatures and martial arts.
