A question or too. As the BOG progress down The Mall, are the horse floats in the background for Mounted Police; why does the Saxophone player wear a sword, against others with bayonets; and I am impressed with your ability to maintain pace - is that because, you are wearing roller blades, on a skate board being towed, or good at walking "sideways" along the footpath??? I enjoy the Military presentation, BOG Bands along with Royal Marines are impressive when Parading.
The saxophone player in this band is the band sergeant major or bandmaster. And I have experience in marching bands so I just walk on step along side them with my camera. I hope I answered your questions.
Not quite, he’s the assistant senior drum major, guards division. The current senior dmaj is Gareth Chambers, but Scott was in 2014 - 2017 (mid April 2018) he handed over.
@@ArmedForcesVideos7 My bad then. I knew he handed over the role, but the sash made me think he is the Senior Drum Major again. At least I got the person right. Some drum majors have got so distinctive hand signs and style of marching.
@@ArmedForcesVideos7 I'd assume so. I just wish more of them chose to use the mace more. I love watching recordings of these events and see if I can spot the same people in the bands. The shape of the bearskin is pretty unique too for some drum majors.
Oh how I miss all the pomp and ceremony after 40 years of being away it never ever leaves me without a tear on my cheeks. So proud I’m A true Briton.
Brilliant video!
The marches played were,
1) Bravura
2) Septem Juncta in Uno
3) Glorious Victory
I love hearing the sound of hob nail boots in the morning.
..sounds like..history
I love the tall tenor sax player marching next to the much shorter alto sax player.
Lucky, I wish I could go to see it in London :(. Good one.
São muito bonito 😍🙋♀️
Salam Sultan Iwan subandi Alam syah salam untuk mu London🇬🇧

The man leading the band is Senior Drum Major Scott Fitzgerald if I'm not mistaken.
I absolutely love his style.

While I like the style and his drill movements, it bothers me that he always tends to be a tiny bit out of step e.g. at 6:58 ...

@@zalanjanurik1897 They have! I think they choose their style…. Maybe?

Are these the Scots Guards Bandservice. Those ammo boots sound beautiful.
