@@frankboyd. I like Molly total a lot. But if it came down to a choice between seeing Larkin Poe or Molly Tuttle it would have to be Larkin Poe. That being said, I wish I had one 100th of 1% of the talent Molly Tuttle has in her little finger
I'm late to the party with Larkin Peo but they are very quickly becoming my favourite there live performances are outstanding listening to there back catalogue and I'm loving there music
This is how to determine greatness. Their live performances exceed their studio recordings. Seen them twice an they are ultimate artists. Literal perfection.
So far I haven't known them but they are a spectre for me!! Incredible performance - so much musicality and passion by those two young ladies in this single tune. I am astonished!
It seems one secret of extreme proficiency is their dynamic range...all the way from very quiet to very loud with NO breakdown in technique. YES, they are fabulous!!
Until now the only version for me was by Harvey Mandel on the Cristo Redentor album. These girls kill it :-) Megan looking terrific with the pony tail.
Used to listen to the Graham Bond Organisation doing this old classic in the 60"s- needs the amazing sax of Dick Heckstall-Smith but still a pretty wonderful cover from the most talented ladies around with their blues base. Saw them at Bristol -what a show!! Thanks girls.
GBO was one of my favourite bands way back when.....did the drummer and bass player ever go on to do anything? The music that these girls produce, along with the girls themselves, is simply stunning. One of my new favourite bands.
For those just discovering Larkin Poe’s cover of this song (like me), it’s worth noting a recent use of it as the theme to the AppleTV+ miniseries “Five Days at Memorial.” I sure wish that they’d used this version of the song! LP rulez
I first had it on Harvey Mandel's LP "Christo Redentor" in the sixties. Always liked that track the best. Larkin Poe were a surprise, a very pleasant surprise indeed.
The video is visually stunning; the Lovel sisters 'clean-up' quite nicely. The vocal mics are way off, at least in the recording I hear (unfortunately).
I'd like to give 11 thumbs up. 10 for the presentation and 1 for the white boots.
Excellent judgement there!
Geil
And 12 for the legs.
Jesus Christ! This is now my favorite band!
ME TOO!
I'm getting on in the years, but must live long enough to see them live. Beth Hart too,as long as I'm wishing.
Don't wait. DO IT! Seen both of them twice and they do not disappoint. Beth and Rebecca are the two best vocalists on the planet right now.
jag älskar Larkin Poe. They surprise me every day
These gal's are in a class of their own, no band on the planet comes near them !!!!
oh it ain`t that bad, just listen: th-cam.com/video/2OkH4whq7HY/w-d-xo.html
Only just discovering them - amazing! Very unique!
Agree they ar bless from the heavens
Still the only new act in the last 2 decades worthy of stardom.
They're the best.
Try Molly Tuttle and Madison Cunningham.

How about Billy Strings or The Dead South?
What!!?? That was something special. What a fantastic performance.
One of my favorites !
Holy shit!! Why haven't I heard them before.
These ladies are great. Love their music!
Sooo talented
Love these ladies so much. They have resurrected my love for music. Rebecca's mandolin awesome. No auto tune. These ladies are the real deal.
I love this version and how they play it here
I tell a whole bunch of people about LARKIN POE, you two are such a treat to my eyes and my ears, Rock On!
3:30 The Staple singers did a great version of this song but this rendition is beyond fantastic.

Just blown away by these awesome sisters! Have been watching their videos for years very early on! This is purely spectacular!!!!!! ❤️❤️
It seems one secret of extreme proficiency is their dynamic range...all the way from very quiet to very loud with NO breakdown in technique. YES, they are fabulous!!
The magic contained within the vocals carries and the harmonies reinforce this melody. Rare and excellent
love these ladies
Not sure if we see enough mandolin these days, Rebecca. Love the way you play it.
THEY'RE SO DAMN GOOD !!! ....
Awesome! These girls are so full of talent!!!
A new fan! these ladies can both sing and play, amazing!
Oh goodness they are so good and just getting better all the time.
Love your ability to perform anything
Top-notch performance art as always by these ladies :-) Very few rock bands I've heard live have these power and mastery!
"Performance art" - absolutely the perfect description. 🙂👍
A nother great Atlanta band. Too cool for two
❤hallo Wonderful Lucky poets and Artists
I❤love your musik , your moves your voices ,your sound ......
Ilove you godwoman❤❤

I found the "white boots " quite a remarable contrast. I'd wear it the same way as she did to this all dark outfit. Perfekt !
Until now the only version for me was by Harvey Mandel on the Cristo Redentor album.
These girls kill it :-)
Megan looking terrific with the pony tail.
the slide player is killer, who is that? she's crazy good

Rebecca's sister Megan
I wish they’d put this on an album
Een van de muzikaal beste nummers die ik ken. De overeenstemming tussen Rebacca en Meghan is geweldig.

Such powerful voices
Listen to the vocals. Both of them GREAT. ❤❤❤❤❤
What a great interpretation of this iconic song. My preferred one used to be Rhoda Scott's. Now, I have two preferred ones!
very very good..................................................................................................
They do a very good job on this classic song. Thank you.
You distaste are frickin tight. Just magic together! Excellent!
Very versatile musicians. Country, bluegrass, blues, gospel, R&B, folk etc.If they feel it, they do it. Great vocals & stage presence.
very talented band and beautiful music. I hear a bass but I don's see a bass player on stage
that girl can sure play slide well, she got my attention right away/badass sounds from that thang-she's hot!
She is the best in the world. She is the slide-queen.
"That girl" has a name: Megan Lovell and she is the best in the world, also named "Slide Queen"
And me in Manchester this Spring - yes indeed!
GBO was one of my favourite bands way back when.....did the drummer and bass player ever go on to do anything? The music that these girls produce, along with the girls themselves, is simply stunning. One of my new favourite bands.
And the hits keep coming, outstanding 😃👍👍👍
Super sweet version, hope to see you live again soon.you are fucking incredible, big love

Great love it
I never expected her to play a Black Spiritual. Well done.
Ooooh. Sharing. Ooooooh.Thank you
They rock! They roll! They bare their soul! Ladies and gentlemen, LARKIN POE!
I had not heard this song till I discovered Eva Cassidy around 20 years ago. i believe she would have loved these two.
I first had it on Harvey Mandel's LP "Christo Redentor" in the sixties. Always liked that track the best. Larkin Poe were a surprise, a very pleasant surprise indeed.
Amazing.
Why is this not on one of your albums????
The older is giving freedom to the younger...... Lets hope that in time, the younger is able to repay the gift, given in a spirit of freindship.
That was a musical journey worth folowing
Awesome' ❤
LOVE YOU BOTH
ALL TALENT

Love this! Why not on an album?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fucking brilliant!
@LarkinPoe Love it, but have you heard Eva Cassidy's version. 🙌🏼 love that soulful sound!
Yes, this version is a 1000 times better
Eva Cassidy's version is wonderful; so is that by Judy Henske. This one, in my opinion, can easily stand with those.
Love it!!!!!!
Larkin Poe 🎉😂❤

So, who's playing the bass line?
Where did you hear a bass line?
Mandolin is what Rebecca is the best at.
She’s not bad on the guitar either 🤘
I’m still devastated that Meghan married someone else
Brother, you are hardly the only one.
Rebecca too.
As you cross from the river to the sea. And Palestine is FREE.
I think you missed the part of the lyrics where they talk about the Israelites. Good try though.
Thanks for inviting mental illness
le batteur n'est pas très respectueux de la musique je trouve ! il aurait pu attendre la fin pour boire son coup ! C'est dommage !!
