Hi, nice work on your dummy. How is the stand holding up with the pvc cap.?I was thinking about running a 4x4 on my stand like how the Warrior wing chun people do what do you think about their idea
TJames 66 hi, sorry to bug you again but what is the distance between the 2 top arm holes ? because I notice you put a gap. And also do I make the trunk to my height or do I do the 60” and then add spacers? I’m 5’10” .
utubepunk Sry just noticed u posted a comment, I just used rustoleum professional primer(gray) and safety red spray paint, like 3 coats of each. Still looks great. Thanks for the comment :)
@@SirTjames I was only able to get a 6" diameter PVC...distributors near me would only sell 20ft minimum of the 8". I like the template idea to get the holes lined up on the front and the back. I appreciate the offer though.
@@SirTjames Hi, great job on the dummy. I am having similar qualms about not getting the holes accurate. Would be great to contact you via email as well to get the measurements. Would be very thankful.
@@SirTjames I tried that route already and was told I could only buy if I was a contractor. I built one out of 6" pvc. Yours is WAY cooler than mine!! nice work!!
Very nice I want make one for my room when I wake up early and practice some times I’m
Lazy to go out to the garage in my gym lol
Awesome job. I want to make one also but i kinda want it to be a junk style
Really cool and great work 👍 👏 How did you align the holes in the front and the back?
The final product is very nice. Way better than others I have viewed online for sale. Do you sell these?
This was just a project for my own use
That came out REALLY great!

Cap is holding up, no problems at all.
TJames 66 did you run screws through the sides of the pvc cap to keep the pipe in place?
I was going to run the screws in on the sides but found I didn't need to the tube fit very snug in it

How were you able to bend the metal tube for the leg?
Amazing
What kind of primer & paint did you use? Was it a special paint for plastic? How has it held up? Dummy looks very professional, btw.

How did you go about making the template to wrap around the dummy?
I actually received the template from a vendor I bought the Arms from online.
@@SirTjames Thanks for the response. I'm about to cut a PVC to size and try to make one myself. I will most likely buy the arms online as well.
@@----DJ---- If you are using the same size PVC as I did I could always take a photo of my template with measurements for you

Hi, I want to build mine. I have the PVC already. I'm worried about messing up the holes. Where can I find the pattern you used?
I had gotten my pattern from the seller I purchased my arms from ( as a added bonus because of a shipping error)
Eduardo Linares if u send me an email I can lay the pattern out flat with measurements noted in it and send a photo of it
@@SirTjames Edit: What's your email? Who was the seller? Thank you.

How much did it cost to build the entire thing?
Total, with purchasing the Arms, approx. $300
is that 8" pvc? if so, where you purchase it?
Yes it is 8", I purchased from industrial distributor in my area

@@jameswelch3011 I found a local company that had some scrap pipe in 8" pipe & they just gave it to me.
Ehhhh, nothing like hitting real wood. Thumbs up for effort though.
