I played the Megadrive version and the 3D versión for Dreamcast but I think I never got the point of the missions. I passed few, but never ended the games. But just swim around was great and relaxing, also because of the great music.
There's also that dark throwaway bit in one of the episodes when Tom goes to heaven, a wet burlap bag of kittens pops their head out of the bag and run through the pearly gates.
0:49. To be fair, the point of Iron Giant was you do you, not what your predecessors wanted you to be. Maybe he just wanted to watch some basketball. It does feel in very bad taste, though.
