I had some sherry at a tapas restaurant several years ago and it was like nothing I’d ever tasted and I didn’t enjoy it. Having seen your video I think it must have been a manzanilla! I’m now intrigued and will grab a bottle and give it another try. I stumbled across your website a couple of months ago and have used your supermarket lists to pick up some really lovely reds. It’s been quite the revelation! Keep up the good work.
Hopefully it is the next big thing! I know very little about sherry other than it was my grandads go to drink. I shall have to grab a bottle and find out for myself.
Fantastic video. Bought some Fino sherry a couple of years back and thought to myself "I'm sure this isn't what sherry is supposed to taste like". Couldn't finish it. Now I know why!
I really like sherry. My favourite style is fino. I like bone dry. Im not so keen on the sweet sherries like px. I do like amontillado too. I prefer dry regular wines too.
Same here. I thought it was spoiled or something. I tried tio pepe and it was produced 2 years ago. Maybe that was the case because I couldn’t get fresh notes, the only thing that I tasted was a yeast but not a good one…
Another excellent, informative video. Many thanks Pete. "Sherry isn't just for Christmas, it's for life!" 😁👍🎉
Super
Enjoyed that Pete, very informative.
Thanks mate, much appreciated.

My favorite style is Oloroso.
I knew nothing about sherry and bought a bottle of Pedro Ximenez and really hated it so I guess i need to look towards the dryer varieties
What happened to Palo Cortado??? Shouldn't be left out.
Seems all these sherrys are from the same brand, could you share the name or where I can buy ?
