    My Foil isnt holding onto my piece well and i can scrape it easy off, is it because the amount of dips i made in my 80L Box? i think there is too much activator in the water.

    Do you run chorine tabs in the water to cut down on the water scum ?

      We have heard of some people that use them & had good results. Hope this helps !!

    Great video, I learned a lot from it. Keep up the great work.
    Can you go into more detail on the filter you use, how often you change it and how you have it setup to work (ie its function)?
    I was thinking of using a small 12v pump to circulate the water to avoid temp gradients in my tank. I was thinking of building a 5” round filter that uses Activated Carbon (the filters you use with soldering station exhaust fans). I would put one or two layers of filter (each about 3/16” thick), and circulate the water through that. Was thinking on making this part out of clear tubing to see it working or getting dirty.
    Can you comment on this idea? In your video I think you said you filter the water by a overflow method where you just skim the top of the water. Can you go into more detail on this or if my idea to just circulate the water through a pump and filter would be enough?
    As I plan on using a insulated Coleman Cooler which has a drain spout, will the lacquer thinner be safe to use on plastic?
    Thanks again in advance. Great videos.

      Not quite sure on how the activator will affect the plastic but I would certainly do some testing before applying it and building the whole tank. As for the tank filters, we will try to shoot a video on this so you can check it out more clearly! Thanks for the idea!

    Nice video, thanks for posting it! A pro tip: Depending on the water and climate some of you might have an issue with some kind of "seaweed" in the tank. Just buy about 5m (~15ft) of copper pipe. Build some kind of a bracket and drop the assembly in the fresh water. The seaweed will be gone.

      @@LiquidConceptsUSA can you add anti organic growth chemicals for an aquarium in the dip tank to avoid nasty smells and bacteria growth? Maybe adding a bit of bleach (500:1 ratio or something)?? Would it affect the film or activator process to dip parts?

    What filter medium do you use?

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We use a medium to low mesh media. Something like a paint booth filter or even an air conditioning filter would work.

    Do you have to drain it after every use?

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No we do not. Our tanks recirculate with a filter to catch debris. Depending on the amount we are dipping we drain it every 5-8 weeks in most cases. If you are not dipping much you could let it go longer.

    Boss how to creat your own activator please let me know?

    • @LiquidConceptsUSA
      @LiquidConceptsUSA  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its very hard and if you dont get it right, then it can be a mess! Its best to buy from a company that already makes it.
