Hey I don't mean to self-promo but my performance mod has better lows and higher performance than the one you're using in this video its called "Optimization Essentials". I'd appreciate it if you checked it out! PS: I also have a mod called "Clear TAA", instead of removing anti-aliasing it tweaks it to look better so the game isn't super aliased.
Need a longer flashlight mod. Clearing a warehouse from outdoors is way tougher than it should be. The beam from the headlamp falls off after like 6m or so. Very noticeable when clearing a zombie warehouse for the noontiders
Hear me out. Night vision. With realistic overlays. Like a cheap monocle nvg will only have a small circle under night vision while the rest is normal vision. Then a expensive PNVGs will have the whole screen in white phos with only the edges normal vision. Be dope af. Make them flicker under an emission and require batteries. Cheap ones for cheap nvgs and pricy for expensive nvgs
Surprised people go for mods like reducing repair price after selecting the difficulty that increases repair price. Just play on normal then. There is pretty much no difference in the combat experience (yes, bloodsuckers deal you 70% of your full health damage, not 80%), but selling, buying, repair and upgrade prices are more convenient.
I don't like the reduce price mods, but I do like the double durability mods. I don't mind the repair price. But I don't want EVERY RUN to cost me 8k just because my armor got tickled, and my gun shot a singular mags worth of ammo
I'm using a 3080ti 12Gb, paired with a 5800x3d and an ultrawide monitor running 3440x1440. I managed to get the game feeling almost perfect outside of the major NPC hubs, but I think the key setting was changing the default of Borderless Windowed mode to Exclusive Full Screen mode and Locking the Framerate. For anyone having issues with performance and running a similar setup try these settings: Manually Clear your Nvidia Shader Cache Folder and set the Cache size to 100 GB in the Nvidia Control panel AMD users Clear your shader cache using the button in the driver app Find the Stalker 2 executable and set the game to run as Administrator Exclusive Full Screen mode (huge impact on stable framerate) Medium graphics preset Textures on High (maybe medium for 8Gb cards) Shadows on High DLSS Quality mode Frame Generation OFF Vsync/Gsync every other sync OFF FPS Capped to 60 (huge impact on stable framerate) Nvidia Reflex Low Latency ON (huge impact on reducing input lag) Mouse look speed 30% (tune to your preference) Mouse aiming 15% (tune to your preference)
On ssd i9 and 2060 6gb, not only that but on optimized settings from nvidia optimizer, which is pretty much low. Also used some of these mods. The lag areas I can see are, 10+ npcs, POI with lots of textures and depth, cities / bases, and special effects (extreme weather / anomaly effects)

you know what version of the game doesn't need to be fixed? Escape from Pripyat. Its just better. And its free. The feature list that Stalker 2 doesn't have is longer then my body.
Ok? Go play it then. Some of us are ready to move on from a 15 year old game that we know and love, and are working to improve stalker 2 just like mod packs like that have.

Ue 5 is made for open world games. They introduced world partition in 5.0 to auto load and unload chunks of the world

yea but the price for repair at the beggining of the game is just way to high

damn mods that make stalker less stalker, well atleast people are playing it

it runs really well on my 7700x and 7900xt 120 fps with no upscaller and using frame gen epic settings
If you're using FG to get "120 fps" it's not truly running well is it?
FG gives bad input lag, that is not running well if you need FG to only get 120 fps bro
Oh yeah, because the 7900xt is an entry level card that some random kid living in the slum can buy for a dime a bucket.
