Right on! My son is a basketball fan. When I asked him about Clark, he shrugged because he would never watch such boring games. I am not a basketball fan, but I know that even a middling College men sports team could bury their best team and humiliate their best players.

News flash: The WNBA is in the entertainment business. Yes they play basketball but entertainment value is what brings the eyeballs on TV and the bums to the seats in the games. Wilson and Freddy Kruger are both unlikeable people regardless in their basketball ability. It doesn’t hurt Caitlin’s draw with the fact that she is a great basketball player and her basketball style is much more entertaining than anyone else in the WNBA. A player’s opinion of their own worth is irrelevant. Fans show a player’s value by buying tickets, watching on TV and buying her merchandise. Nobody in this league can compete with Caitlin where the money hits the road.
PS Many of these players are indifferent or hostile to the fans that pay the bills (Caitlin cares and it shows). Could anything be more stupid in a “professional league”?

I just want to watch her play. She is contagious. Her character and the ability to excite the fans are a breath of fresh air. I hope the upcoming ladies are able to bring the same. All you have to do is stand back and look at the "Olivia Dunne" effect to understand....it's not the quality of gymnastics, or the quality of basketball, necessarily that means something. It's strictly the number of eyeballs you can attract, for whatever reason. Butts in the seats, for whatever reason. If I want to watch fine basketball, that's really competitive basketball, I'll go watch NCAA Men's and in my neck of the woods, Vic's UT Women's team. The NBA is boring....and the WNBA is REALLY boring.
