Judy,this was probably one of the best scenes in the opera 🌎 The tenderness and the passion,shown throughout was unbelievable, that 💋 was the real thing! I liked the bit, where Jose, has her earring in his hand, she didn’t know to laugh or smile, the respect they showed for one another, was magical Judy I must thank you once again, for pointing me to Adriana Lecouvreur, and the earring, a wonderful performance from these to Spanish legends 🌷😉

@@stangetty8166In Jose s biography he states that everttime he sang.with her and looked into her eyes ,he fell in love a little more .She loved him too ,but noone could ever get between her and Bernabei.I don't think that he would have tried anyway .We can all fall in love and it not be viable ,but best friends are still very special ❤️ 💖 💕

I had the privilege of seeing/hearing them together once (not an opera, though, unfortunately) but it was maybe the best moment in my life. And now, thanks to YT, I can revive their performances once again, a million times. Thank you "baja6211". This aria is maybe the best of them together and the moment of the earing, priceless !!
