    Thanks for the vid. It does look easy. I ordered 3. I think the hard part will be getting them all lined up to look as one . I am not very good at this kind of thing but I figure if I screw it up I can always hire somebody..LOL

      Rad! That was actually my concern for having multiple as well. Send pics once it’s up!

      How did it go installing 3 of them? I’m just about to place an order.

    I don't like those electronic stud-finders. I use a large magnet with a cloth/fabric in between(to avoid scratching the paint). They sell plastic covered magnet stud finders. Looks great, just have to reposition that lightning bolt!

      rollinover I’m glad to hear it wasn’t just me. Every other time I used the stud finder, the stud had suddenly moved? It was frustrating. I appreciate the tip! Also, the bolt has been moved!

    Thanks. This was a very helpful clip. I have 6 guitars hung up with the traditional single hanger units but am looking to see if I can get at least 8 or 9 in the same space. How sturdy do the arms feel? Thanks again.

      The arms have a little give, but all in all, it’s exceptionally sturdy-especially if you reinforce the anchors.
      Thanks for watching!

    I’m more amazed that you didn’t bother to remove the original hangers when you painted the wall gray. It probably took more time to mask them off than to just unscrew them.

      That was a path-to-least-resistance job. No doubt about it.

    Looks good! Do you feel like it showcases your guitars just as good as when they were separated? Or do they feel at all hidden when stacked like that?

    • @Gibsunday
      @Gibsunday  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Absolutely! I think they’re even cooler together than spread out. Something about a cluster of guitars looks so god!

    How is the String Swing holding up with your Gibson guitars? Do you trust that the String Swing will hold a Gibson Les Paul that weighs 9.5 pounds? Thoughts?

    • @Gibsunday

      I hung up several heavy Gibbys, on two @StringSwing’s, for two years, and never had a problem. Hang it up right and you won’t have a problem!

    So how do you go about keeping them clean when you hang em? Also do you run through more strings? That is to say do they sound dead quicker?

    • @Gibsunday
      @Gibsunday  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. I wipe them down when I hang them back up and if they seem especially dusty when I pull them down, I wipe them off before playing. But I play them daily, so I'm not seeing any excessive dirt build-up. Same for the strings go, I haven't noticed an accelerated deterioration. So far, so good!

    How far out from the wall to the guitars hang?
