I have been playing with my Yamaha Pacifica since the early 2000s. What I have is the entry level, but my Pac112 has been my go-to guitar and I'm really thankful I bought it way back then. 🙂

I just wanted to shout out Perfecto, you are a super cool dude, you managed to get me to pick up my guitar again. Recently acquired Mooer GE 250 and Squier Classic Vibe 60s Strat, also have an old Amercian Standard Strat for many years and a Gretsch streamliner

If they have this exact colour scheme, maple on ash pink, for the Japanese model, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Absolutely gorgeous.

I remember that they just used plastic nuts with the earlier Revstars so its nice to see that Yamaha now has the Graphtech TUSQ XL's on these!
Yes first time I saw a Pacifica was via Michael Lee Firkins. This latest Pacifica is quite happening. This would be good for those Dann Huff/Michael Landau/Steve Lukather 80s clean sound.

Sill playing my Pacifica 721 ..love it. Want one of these. But was told by a few who own the 721s and this tgw irs no better .speaks volumes of my old PAC. Exceot stainless frets

I think yamaha should make this design standard on all their range hanggang sa mga budget models. This looks like the best form ng pacifica unlike sa mga dati na d talaga nag grow sakin ung pickguard design nila.

IMO the inlays and nut should have been white to match the pickguard.

@@Allguitarinfo But the thing is that white guitars are pretty common, pink aren't as widely available :/ and they fumbled the aesthetics on that one with the nut and inlays.

it’s a very crunchy chord, maybe diminished of some sort.
No Hard Tail, Matching Head stock and No Sparkling finishes...

Ugh. It would have been a way more useful demo without all of the goddamn processing. It sounds just like any other heavily processed Strat with a bridge humbucker.
Would playing through an amp without reverb, tremolo, chorus, or distortion through a dry condenser mic kill anyone?

It’s a sponsored demo for a premium guitar with custom pickups that, because of all the processing, ends up sounding no better than a $360 PAC112V. I’m sure that’s what Yamaha had in mind.
