@@jase276 Fuka doesn't turn 18 until 2019-10-12. So, from the time of my writing this, it's a little over 5 months until she's "legal". Funny thing is Nana looks younger than Fuka (shorter, way smaller chest) but is 3yrs older.

Okay, I'm ready to accept these guys as the world's second Kawaii Metal band! Looks like Babymetal may have some serious competition here!
Well, Ladybaby first need to become bigger than PassCode, who fill a similar niche, have been around longer, are older (except Hinako is younger than Rie), have -- much as I hate to say it -- a better screamer (Emily is still love & life tho'), and are way more popular domestically… before LB would have the cred to take on even today's 2/3-power Babymetal. Still, hopefully they'll get there. This upcoming single plus Riot Anthem is a good start.
@rezargamer - What's your fucking problem, you muppet? Literally nothing I said is untrue. Most are cold hard facts, like every member of PC but one is older than Rie (that's public info). PC are signed to a major label and fill venues much bigger than what Ladybaby can do _in Japan._ Internationally is a different story. Also, learn grammar.

To be fair, the English is primarily for a Japanese audience. It works for them, so it's all good.

EXACTLY the same for me. Got into Punk and Metal in the late '70s. It's been a great ride, and it has led me here.A huge part of Idol appeal is that they are Japanese, and totally unlike anything Western music has to offer. Catering to Western fans would only detract from what makes them so awesome!

Truth! Rie went through a personal hell, grew up, and upon taking control of Ladybaby - the project she loves - decided to make it legit. That this MV features their occasional live band The Chaos just makes it more legit.

It took last year's reformation to (re)find their identity. And honestly, I'm ok with that. This is the _best_ incarnation of any version of this group. My only regret is that this didn't happen sooner (or first, for that matter)

I think we can agree _all_ incarnations of Ladybaby rock to one degree or another, but Beard was undeniably a gimmick. _Good_ gimmick, but still gimmick. As much as I respect him and I like Reika - she seems like a nice lady who could easily kill me - I'm just not into Deadlift Lolita.
