The difference between hindu law and hinduism is only that the first is the political system and the second the religion? For instance .. if I talk about Dharma, Veda I'm showing hindu law, hinduism or both them due to the hinduism is their hindu law? Hope I've made myself clear..

Everything old should be abandoned by us indians if we want to progress .... Old teachings have inculcated regressive attitudes in us and hence india is ranked 131 in human development index ...indicating unless we get rid of our thought process we will not develop .... We should get rid of ritualistic religious processes , casteism ( which is biggest bane and lacuna of our shastras) on immediately if we want to progress and stop free loaders from enjoying without contributing to the society ...

I haven't researched about Manusmriti in depth. But with my limited knowledge, I can say that there are two opinions on Manusmriti, one says that the original text of Manusmriti was less orthodox and it is only the new version of it that has maligned the text over the period of time. And other opinion does not believe in this theory and hence finds Manusmriti a highly orthodox text. Dr. BR Ambedkar belongs to this second opinion. And as far as answer of your question is concerned i.e. who is wrong or right, I would say we need to find out why someone is wrong or why someone is right. I will leave this answer to the person/student who have researched about it in depth.
@@EduSeekers sir ,thank you for your answer,I asked you this question because I see there are some TH-cam channels as well as some people who make fun of all the texts and scriptures belong to ancient Indian history like Vedas, upanishads, manusmriti and even chanakya Niti and arthashastra,they try to make people to be against these texts by saying that these are the worst books written by pakhand brahmins only to discriminate people and to glorify their caste. They also never hesitate to say against our ancient Indian culture and the education we possessed at that time.They underestimate the power of our ancient Indian original sanatan dharm. I never like this propogandas at all and I also never bear this . I am sure that they are wrong but still I want to prove them wrong in front of their own viewers and prove them that ancient Indian, culture,text and knowledge was the best of all.
If they are educated enough guys then you can educate them but if they are just TRP hungry guy's then you think twice. Offcourse, if you believe that something is best then to defend that something you have to research, read, investigate, gather proof.. then come with your work, demonstrate them why it's the best. If you feel comments are not enough to demonstrate then make detailed video or write blogs or share already researched work on ancient texts.
And opening up to substantial criticism will not do harm to ourselves. As Kabir says :- निंदक नियरे राखिए, ऑंगन कुटी छवाय, बिन पानी, साबुन बिना, निर्मल करे सुभाय
