      Is it me, or was Dubai more green back then with more trees, now days more buildings and concrete, but less trees. I see videos of 80's and 90s Dubai, looks more green

    omg...i used to live 2 minutes away from you, that area was called al mansoora, good old memories...many of the villas and roads havent event changed from 1990 to now if u go...

    My dad migrated to Sharjah along with my mom in 1992 and lived here ever since. I was born in 1996 and while ofc I don't recall much, this was a trip down memory lane for my dad. He loved this video a lot

    You took me to 1997 Gary.I used to live in Mansoora.Sharjah Cop before your house moved a block ahead and where Sharjah Cop was became Sharjah Water Electricity Department SEWA.The mosque at the roundabout is still there.Al Wahda street is still the same.Thanks for the upload 😊

    Gary Sir you had a wonderful memories of Dubai and Sharjah in the 1990’s I was born and brought up and have lived in Abu Dhabi but finally me and my family moved here in Detriot area Michigan USA 🇺🇸 for good 9 years ago

    Jeez .....i was your neighbor during the same time period, though I was a school going kid. My school bus would take the same route passing the flying saucer super market everyday. Wish I could time travel back to this place.

    This is amazing really, driving between dubai to sharjah takes only 15 min and now min 3 hours , i guess you was living at UmKhanoor, I still remember all places that you crossed , simple video but its gold with the memory , thanks

    the sharjah coperative is nos sharjah electrical and water department and your house is still like this nothing changed in umm- khanoor now known as sabkha and in other side of your house there is few stores which make it as a small market

    Flying soucer Lal's super market is no long there. Roundabout also have been removed . There is fly over now.

    Those good old times. Loved channel 33 & Dubai Radio with something 94 or 93 .. frequency that us to play melodious songs late evenings to midnight ... everything of that era is so real ... so good bold & beautiful. Beauty and the beast.. law & orders twin peaks.. war of the worlds... Dr. Who.. cartoon like mask, x bomber, star fleet, transformer etc..

      .Hi mate I remember you cause we lived in front of you in sharjah. I remember you 4x4 car and your garage was so tiny. There was a small supermarket called Rashma in front of you and you used to buy from it.
