I’m a newbie to this art world. I’ve been watching other videos for about a year, and I’ve only recently found yours. When I saw the finished shot of this one my immediate thought was “a big oak tree trunk with amazing wildflowers growing around it”! I can’t think of the word needed to describe how I feel about it. I want to try to follow your instructions (which are so pleasant and peaceful) and see if I might be able to learn this. I’ve been complimented on the simple works that I’ve done so far, but I haven’t really found my nitch in this wonderful, peaceful and emotional art world. Maybe this is it. Yes... I knew what I wanted to do... She had asked me to do the chakra colors... and had picked out a pour painting. Then I did the last one that was just for fun and 12" square. Well.... she fell in love with it... so I said I will do a bigger one. After doing the 3 larger flowers ... I felt it needed more of that punch of color to pull out more of the chakra colors and it just seemed to fall into place!
I guess I didn't explain my question very well. I heard you say why you were making this one. I guess I wanted to know if you see your painting before you start one.

Been giving it a try myself and it isn't as easy as you make it look! I have had trouble getting silicone to blend in the paint, What kind do you use? Also do you put the silicone in the black paint?

I paint all the time. I have painted for 20 years and acrylic pouring has just been a part of my huge art career for the last few years. I always will do acrylic pours in between other art... but my passion for traditional acrylic art will never go away and I am falling in love with resin art as well

I paint all the time. I have painted for 20 years and acrylic pouring has just been a part of my huge art career for the last few years. I always will do acrylic pours in between other art... but my passion for traditional acrylic art will never go away and I am falling in love with resin art as well
