Hi, MarkWayke here. Just to explains some things, the italy conquest was realy made mainly by vassals. I had as vassals milan, saluzzo, savoy, florence, urbino, naples, sicily and ferrara, so most of the conquest was by reconquest. The "Big" ones like milan and naples I broke apart, mostly by given their provinces to allies then taking back, and the small nations like ferrara and florence I feed them their primary culture province then broke them apart too, releasing all possible nations, vassalize, then reconquest their provinces. I didn't focus in AE reduction, but if you had seen my diplomatic anexation cost you would have seen my real focus.
@@Mordacitas7yeah, actually a mistake. Sometimes when I am not focusing to much in trade, I just forget the merchants. I saw this when I continued the run and fixed this issue few year after. 😂

No idea how the Italy guy did it. If I take 3 provinces in italy as anyone at any time for any reason other than a reconquest CB I would immediately have everyone in Europe in a coalition unless you manually improve relations with literally every HRE nation. Idk, sounds really weird.
If I got it right he basically vassalized everyone he could and only gave provinces to his allies (like the papal states in the beginning, I imagine he could even diplo annex the small naples because of it with 0 AE), so all his non subjugation wars were reconquests. Besides that he stacked diplo annex cost. He actually did leave a comment here explaining parts of the strat!
The HRE is a special endgame tag due to its formation, meaning you can form it as a endgame tag, for example you can form the PLC, an end game tag, and then pass the reforms revoke and then unite the empire forming the HRE, there other 3 special endgame tags, those being the mongol empire, Rome and viti from what i remenber, Rome and the mongol empire are whats called super end game tags, meaning you can form them as a end game tag like Spain -> Rome or Yuan -> mongol empire but viti is an even more special case because it is an endgame tag that can be formed by super endgame tags and other end game tags, so you could theoretically form them as Rome or the Mongol empire if you wanted to
the viti formation can be done by all nations, so i formed them to be able to ally and vassalize/charter from ottoman historical rivals - mamluks/austria/timurids/great horde
An end game tag is a nation that can't form another nation, except special cases like hre, mongols and the roman empire. Ottomans starts as an end game tag and Viti is (probably) an oversight that allowed him to bypass the restriction.

@thirdeyefocus6255 this is how you improve army professionalism, I was referring to tradition (sieges, battles, Aristo ideas for reducing decay %, quality ideas ... etc, that are definetly absent in that saved game); so probably he used something not included within the WikiParadox pages. @@thirdeyefocus6255That is professionalism, army tradition is only gained from battles and sieges, appart from modifiers. Oh and active forts, but that is capped at 1 yearly army tradition.
he cheated only way for the venice player. has no ae with aragon, or castile. not possible. as you can't aragon will keep the islands the entire game and youd have to war him Mutiple times to keep ae to the minimum. but just taking 3 to 4 proviences a war your ae is high as hell. so if he didnt care about ae or a coalition or two it would be easy. i will stand by he cheated all i do is play byz to rome. italy and wc. i say he cheated, naples free by 46 to fight a war against venice is very doubful and very bad rng for aragon.
