"From the Grateful Dead's first-ever appearance at Shoreline Amphitheatre, this mighty fine and jamming Truckin' is in its newer setlist position, leading into Drums. Prior to 1987, it was more commonly found in the post-Space portion of the show, but in 1987 is began shifting more steadily as the lead-in to Drums." - David Lemieux
I'll say it again, the breakout of "C.C. Rider>Train To Cry" from 1991's Spring Shoreline Run, night #3 (5-12-91?). How about entire show? The "Althea" & "Black Throated Wind" were both stellar. "Hightime" Overcast grey clouds with balloons late afternoon with a perfect "Help>Slipknot!>Franklin's" "L.L. Rain">"Terrapin">DrumSPACE> "G.D.T.R.F.B.>"Throwing>NFA" E:Weight It was such a sick show. Worthy of a Blueray DVD.
I was wondering if the amphitheater smelled like weed back then or would it had been raided by the ATF? Could one just imagine if in 2024 we were all there, everything the same… This whole F’ING country needs to go to a Dead concert! REEEEeeeee Lax everyone… in a few decades, we won’t even be here….
Don't get me wrong. I love the Dead but they can't sing harmonies for sh(t live. Never have. I've never heard a version of Brokedown Palace live that didn't make me wince.
I love the band and the boys, and the girl as well, but one time they encored with Blackbird by the Beatles. I couldn't help it, I was rolling around in the grass howling with laughter until I had tears in my eyes, admittedly screwing up people near by me's experience of the rare, but not so well sung performance of this song. I didn't mean to disturb anyone, but it was just so bad.

Hard to believe but Jerry is only in his late 40’s in this video.😢
He was 45. Around this time and until the end of his life he looked 30 years older than what he was.

This has already been posted
Bobby is wearing a Madonna shirt !!! No one would just sand up and say "What The F*ck Is That !?!?!?!"
“Living on **crack** vitamin C and cocaine”
Ha! With that line it’s a dead giveaway this is a late 80s show 😂
I’m not looking for stuff that you guys have already posted
This was posted a year ago?
Something that’s not literally already posted A YEAR AGO would be cool. There’s some people that enjoy new stuff not the same shit over and over.
2024? Who's here??!!

Post new stuff
Livin on crack, vitamin c and cocaine 😂
This is already posted on the channel? Why again? How does the official Dead channel not having new stuff to post? this is kinda a waste.
