Hi! thank you for this! The noise cancellation on the mic for this one seems better than the H390 (based on both of your review videos) would you agree?
User of one of these for just under 2 years now - 35-45 hrs per week average work from home call center environment. The only issue I have ran into is as of roughly 1 week ago the LED indicator on the cord for the mute went out. Mute button still works but indicator is out. So far that’s the only product deterioration I’ve experienced. So if you have to toggle mute a lot for whatever reason, in my case the led indicator light lasts roughly a little under 2 years Figured I’d toss in my two cents as someone who has been using this for work from home for a couple years. I definitely could do a lot better or worse. Comfort wise it’s far better than any of the headsets the office gave me me, volume wise of the head set speakers, I can make this headset roughly double the volume of the headsets I was assigned from work. So that’s helpful if the customer/clients volume is very low. I can’t compare to other business/office use headsets really as it’s the only one I’ve bought but it’s been better than the kind of headsets Ive been given for free to take home from the call centers I’ve worked for so there’s that.
The LED is a common issue in the build quality, I have used 3 over the last 4 years, each one had this problem. My most recent one had the LED die after about 2 months (and I'm usually not muted as I have a PTT button) Still mutes, just no light.
Thanks for the review - just bought this headset but the mic volume is too low even though I've set it to max volume. I've tried everything in settings etc. to fix it but not sure if it's a faulty headset or if there's anything else I can do to fix this problem. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks
Hmm sorry to hear that it shouldn’t be super low volume that seems abnormal. You do need to make sure to place the mic as close to your mouth as possible and it’s in bent towards your mouth
Which brand you recommend for office headset with 80 persons talking in the background taking calls? I am planning to buy one for me regardless if it's wired or wireless. Thank you
you can buy something far better with the amount of money that these are being sold for - most what you are paying for are the 'convenient functions' that they've serviced into these headphones: swiveling microphone integrated with the headphones, noise cancelling microphone, on-ear controls, LED light (indicating whether the mic is muted or not), and so on. these are ideal for when you don't want to spend the time researching and simply want headphones that just work with all the noise cancelling, on-ear controls, etc. that are perfect for an office job/environment. other than that, these are not good if you would compare them to headphones of the same or less price, such as Superlux HD681, when it comes to audio quality. in the same way, the microphone audio quality is terrible for its price - you can buy a zalman clip-on microphone for 5 bucks nowadays, install noise-cancelling software, and if it being attached to your headphones are of importance you can use a velcro tape. because Logitech's H540 built-in microphone's quality is assumingly ok, but the integrated noise-cancelling makes it worse, and you cannot turn that function off.
Probably because the microphone on this model isn't the best for noise cancellation. Give the video below a look with others to compare. th-cam.com/video/_1I1ov-xQxQ/w-d-xo.html&lc=UgwmsaC5YTvufuYiMvx4AaABAg
You can still hear the baby crying. Deal killer for me. Noise cancellation is mediocre. Correct. Lower level but that would be irritating to whoever is talking to you. Which one has the BEST background noise reduction?
Yes, this is a very entry level headset so you won't get the best mic noise cancellation you can get. The Orosound Tilde Pro offers the best microphone noise reduction that we've tested as of today but it's in a different class of headset with a significant price difference. th-cam.com/video/B_91vCqIbbs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EEzJr6NIdHJa8iRX
logitech headset is junk. You'd be happier just throwing that straight into the garbage. Shit on-screen display is right in the middle of your screen, takes forever to disappear, won't allow you to close it. WTF is that? And the cheap ass thin plastic. Drop it once and it's done. Please don't buy this garbage
Hmm this headset looks like it's for pilots, and not something you'd use to work from home with. Thank you for the review suggestion, and we'll consider this in the future if we start looking to review Aviation headsets.

Thanks to my brother for this useful advice

This headset doesn't have microphone boost option on windows audio properties
your review was superb details

They're about the same to us. Neither block out the background noise that much.
The H390 has better mic sound, though.

Between this and h390; which one is better for
all, especially when it comes to ear comfort?
They're similar but the H540 is probably a little better for comfort.
whao, that was a very very good review. I really liked the blender test. I am buying this thing.
Glad it was helpful!
Please do a review of the Eksa H12E
Hello, between this and the h390, which has the better mic in your opinion?
Both are about the same, you won't notice a night and day difference between one over the other.
Review ter keren detail banget

Recording Devices > Properties > Custom tab > check "AGC"
That fixed it for me, best of luck
Just bought these after watching your review but my headset doesn't cancel anything. It's picking up all the noise around me. Is mine faulty?
The microphone on this headset doesn't have very good microphone noise cancellation. Consider adding neep.com for the best noise cancellation.
very good review , thank you
You're welcome!

That's a tough one. If you're within the US or Canada please contact us so an Advisor can understand more headsetadvisor.com/pages/contact-us
@@HeadsetAdvisor I am from PH, I am not certain if I should get Jabra or Poly
@@Rusty1OO915 Poly... Blackwire 3220 has a mic noise cancellation better than jabra evolve 20, both are low budget and wired headsets.
which one is better? this one or H390? especially for noice cancelling
Neither. Both will be about the same in regards to noise cancellation.
does the speakers have bass
Not really
What is the best headset with mic and ANC for WFH under $100?
The D722U is a good one to consider discoverheadsets.com/products/discover-d722u-wired-over-ear-usb-headset
Thanks for the reply. Sadly they don't sell it in my country. Thanks anyway man
