I turned 58 yesterday and he is by far my favorite artist. 27 (a great song) hooked me and At My Best reeled me in. But I also love his rap songs. There's something very special about his spirit and soul and he puts it into all of his music. And in concert - he's a powerhouse.

MGK has been nominated for his 1st VMA in the Alternative category for Bloody Valentine. Daily voting is open. His 2nd single is due out 8/5 and he is filming the video today. He delayed his album release so he wouldn’t take away the shine from releases of his collaborators. A few days ago he was in Puerto Rico filming Midnight in the Switchgrass. He is in Project Power with Jamie Foxx that comes out on Netflix 8/14. Dude is always grinding.
