Hello miss Anna. ... I love your lesson, they are quite useful. .. I'm mechanic engineer, I would like about oil drilling, I have had an English interview, and I realized didn't know the vocabulary about the process about oil drilling. .. please, help me... I would like to be your friend, my name is yorman, this my number +1868 275 0468... I from Venezuela but, I'm living in Peru right now. ... you know for the situation. ... greetings from South America. .. you are the best teacher
Keep up the good work Anna. And if I may say so, you are stunningly beautiful. I fell in love with you from the moment I first laid eyes on you in your first video.
All in all, I think your explanations are somehow very professional with details for students like me it has lots of new odds words which just have usage in midwifery. 🤔
Stripping the membranes is when a Dr, nurse, or midwife use 2 fingers to sweep the mucous plug that is in the cervix. This plug is to keep foreign bodies and bacteria from entering the uterus. At the same time the doctor or midwife will also slightly displace the amniotic sac by pulling it away from uterine wall. In some cases this can help women start a regular rhythm of contractions and a productive labor going.
Thank YOU Anna & plz never stop giving..Would you please discus (educating children E & language in general)+necessary phrases for a child..Thanks again ++Adore ur channel and style +useful info....God bless u
Hi Anna, Congratulations... You are now enjoying the motherhood. I am following your videos to improve my langue skill as I love British English. ( I haven't had a proper language lessons. Mostly gain by usage) You have given a good account of pregnancy related vocabulary. It is really very helpful and informative. I think only few words missed. Pre-pregnancy preparation or counselling. Conceive. Miscarriage. Abortion. Ectopic. Scan for dating, anomaly, growth. Termination. Stillbirth. Ventouse(Vaccum) Delivery. Lochia. Puperium. Post-patum Contraception. Best regards.
You are telling everything super Actually I have been working as male nurse in the hospital for twenty years and I can assist all general surgeries, and I have done nomber of vasinal deliveries
Hi lovely Anna May I ask you something please? I've got 2 young children and I do need call NHS 111 very often And always they ask some basic questions I answer all but sometimes I just guess what they ask,or according to other vocabulary I understand, Now can I ask you prepare a lesson all about these questions please I bet many people need it and it will be very helpful Thank you so much And have a great day
Hi! Thanks for that interesting video! I have one question though about using the phrase 'to deliver a baby'. I'm not quite sure to whom the word 'deliver' refers. I've seen that when a new member of the royal family is born, they announce it by saying for example that "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son". In that sentence it seems to me that the medical staff did the delivering. But on other occasions, like in your video, I have always understood that it refers to the mother. Could you please clarify this matter?😊
Ohhhh the stork story is really popular in Belarus and is told every single child who asks where do babies come from. Also there is such a thing as finding babies in cabbage, but it's less common
Uh it is demanding issue. I think I needed to listen again. I had one story. I took place almost 17years ago. My aunt was on her 8th month of pregnancy. She was stroking her cat when I come woth big cut across my nose (Yep I've been on of those boys how liked to fight with wood sword ). All I remember is there was blood in my face and T-short. So before ambulance was come dowm aunt's house, she give birth. The most interesting part is that my aunt was petrified about all what could happened, but all happened so quickly and in a nature way that a doctor gust did formalities and said that aunt may go home. P.S I convince that majority use term witch cone from ancient Greek. But it so difficult to pronace these term correct.
Hello Anna. Yes, we used to say in Europe that the baby is brought by a stork, especially when the baby was black. Storks are coming from African in springtime or in early summer. Who knows if the mother 9 months before was in Africa or natural father in Europe or just miracle have had happened. Very good explanation Anna! But sorry, do we call anesthetic or anaesthetic?
Most doctors perform cesarean sections because they are more expensive than normal births (a kind of commercial greed). and you sure suffering from scars in the abdominal area, try spectra gel, dear anna
And click the link in the description box bellllow😂oh god...I was about to die laughing at this.......thank you for the lesson Anna ! nice and clever edit ! Greetings from Syria 💗 and send my love for Jacob💗
Our teacher asked us a question and tell us to search about the answer . the question is ( word of two syllable just in this word that the letter A is pronounces as the vowel /e/ (only one word in Enghlish). If u know the answer please help me 🙏☹ .* forget me if I couldn't speak enghlish very well because I'm form Arabian country (Iraq)
What about a man, when we want to say he has a baby. I mean, could we say: He gives birth like a woman or there is a certain phrase or word explains what we want to say
Thank you for your message. Collaborations and sponsorship are a necessary part of being a full time TH-camr. iTalki, Lingoda, and any other sponsors pay for this channel to continue making weekly content for the world to enjoy for free. I hope you understand.
I used to like this channel, but the whole baby theme as a reccurent subject is starting to become a little bit too much for me...No offence but " English like a pregnant native " is boring. You used to be so creative. Seems like ever since the moment a woman is pregnant the whole world is like revolving around it. Don't get me wrong I do like your channel, and congrats by the way. Kisses from France...( I know what you're gonna think, Ohhhhh another ranting frenchie lol )
She is trying to get back on track and that's how you help Do you know how much pain it takes to give birth specially for the first time , so next time keep your negative comments to yourself ...peace
I appreciate your feedback and your honesty. I did recently do a lesson on park vocabulary and a lesson on business english phrasal verbs. The subject of pregnancy, birth and babies is a huge subject with its own unique vocabulary which touches everyone as we were all born and many of the population have children. As my knowledge of this subject is fresh it makes sense for me to cover it now. Besides I have had numerous requests from viewers for these videos. Within videos like this one is vocabulary which is helpful to medical professionals (‘anaesthetist’ for example is very hard to pronounce). There is one more video in this series coming this weekend based on vocabulary for newborns and then the topic will not be revisited. However my baby will appear in many of my videos because I am a working mum and that is the only way I can continue to provide content. I hope you will understand. It’s impossible for me to please everyone. Lots of interesting videos planned for the coming months. Stick with me.
FYI, @Ayoub, it was not a negative comment, it was my feeling...Have you ever heard about " freedom of speech " ? I did not insult anybody, I was just expressing myself...This is the FREE WORLD darling, get you used to it....I started following her she had 70k followers and never even made one comment. What I do like is that she responded, it was clear, articulated and honest like she always is. Therefore the subject is closed , and no need for you, dear Ayoub, to be the chief of the "who has the right to talk" police, there are another countries on this earth where they can't even speak freely...maybe your help is needed there.
Thank you for watching. If you are interested in my birth story you can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/3DB-0oghZAI/w-d-xo.html

I agree it is confusing. Anyone involved in being the baby into the world helps to deliver the baby, that’s the mum and the medical staff.
Thanks it's very amazing
Awesome 👌👌👌👌
Very good ✌️✌️
Ohhhh the stork story is really popular in Belarus and is told every single child who asks where do babies come from. Also there is such a thing as finding babies in cabbage, but it's less common

They are the same but the first is AmE spelling I believe.
Thank you for these beautifully themed videos... what about the term 'breach' ?
Very good point yes the term breach should have been on that list, meaning the baby is the wrong way around and would come out feet or bottom first.
Please make
