You can also check for a slow leak using a balloon( or cut a finger off a disposable nitrile glove) placed tightly over each end of the cylinder. Leave overnight and see if its inflated the balloon on either end.
a lot of people needs always this services , i imagine a work shop payed for example to make this job and gaves the opportunity to learn to work , dismount and repaired the basic .
Great video - do you have any further tricks on how to open the cylinder? I've tried with a bar and an adjustable wrench, but can't get it open. Do you clamp the cylinder in a vise?
I service HW100 for my fellow club members. I use a vice with hard rubber jaws fitted. I also use a 36mm hex socket to remove the end. I put duck tape on the hex so it doesn't get damaged.
23:45 *_Next inspection 2018_* you should NOT use this now ! What do you think how long the cadridge can be used ? Weihrauch does not make inspektions and our government (germany) says: we need the papers for inspection - but Weihrauch does not give them !
Depends on local restrictions. In the UK there is no regulation for pressure vessels under 2litres therefore no issue using past the dates. We usually do an internal visual inspection during servicing
Great video. Could someone please answer a question regarding a cylinder. I you lay the air gun up over the winter intending to not use it, Is it ok to leave a full charge of air in the cylinder, or should the air be depleted until used again? Thank you.
If you are not going to use your rifle for a while..then keep the air cylinder topped up to say 100 bar. Then once a week just dry fire it 5/6 shots just to keep the o rings from drying out..
ive just opened mine up to fix a leak on the piston but I don't have a brass ring or the other oring in mine from the factory as well, can this be right you think!
