I got to visit my brother in Brooklyn. It was a short trip but we made the most of it. The first night we had l'industire pizzeria, which I did not capture because your girl was hungry. I finally got to see my little brother play soccer, somewhere in Manhattan. Our second day we got to check out a bakery I've been wanting to visit so badly, L'apartment 4f. The best croissant I've ever had! I got the raspberry croissant which was not too sweet and crunchy (also amazing coffee to pair with it). We got to explore Brooklyn Heights and a sweet friend gave us a tour of the Promenade. Later that day we enjoyed Italian food at Misi. Day 3 we picked up sandwiches from Mission Sandwich Social and matcha lattes from Kijitora. Headed to Central Park to enjoy the beautiful sunny day. Last day came too soon but we got to check out Radio Bakery and explore the shops in Williamsburg. Hanging out with my brother and his friends was absolutely fun and sweet and also made me realize I don't have a community or friends where I currently live. Though I have tried joining events, it's been difficult making connections. This trip has encouraged me to push myself to go out more and enjoy any clubs or events in my city... we shall see!
