I'm surprised it will only have one gate with jet bridges. I'd have thought this upgrade would be an opportune time to install more jet bridges, as they are much more convenient, especially in wet weather.

I'm a bit disappointed that the domestic terminal hasn't improved much. Most Australian airports have a one-floor design with no bridge and are often overcrowded, like a third-world country airport.

I think so, I remember hearing that wanted they want to start flights to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
