RIP Thomas Cook
I loved how the little beads of rain, pissed off, because they are going to warmer climes.
Not often u get a taxi up the runway at ncl it’s normally up delta
i miss going on holiday every summer it was like the best because we went to burger king and got a neck pillow and then spain was just amazing
Nice example of a flex take off
Anyone else hate that little dropping sensation just after takeoff😂😂
Jack McDonald that’s when you hit the thrust reduction/acceleration height above the ground and go into climb thrust and pitch the nose down reducing climb rate and accelerating.
Julio Romeresto yeah i know what it is just a weird sensation
me
Yasss I feel it!
Yes I dont like that bit either
Dear God I miss this so much.
Oh I miss that.
I always hated the part where the engine sound changes after takeoff cuz I thought it meant the engines were failing but then I realised it’s just them reducing the thrust cuz they can’t stay on full throttle the whole journey
Jessicaaa x that is correct but it also is the same reason why planes can’t take off straight after the previous plane it can create a vortex
The engines are at full throttle on take off to get enough power for lift off then once around 1000ft up they decrease power by about 15% so the engines dont burn out x
My local airport is Newcastle
Will Armstrong Mine too :)

Going same airline same airport next month
‘Cabin crew release’ what does that mean when captain said that??
Cabin crew can leave their seats to start service
Interesting that you taxied down the runway and then turned around at the bottom of the runway. I wonder if something was wrong with the taxiway.
Philip Dobinson My thoughts exactly! Perhaps it was a case of a few minutes could have been shaved off the departure?
AviationAdam it was August 27th. That may have been it!
not sure why but im pretty sure its called backtracking
There was a sink hole opened up last year on one of the taxi ways
I am so pleased I’ve found a video where you taxi up the runway itself. I once thought I was imagining things when we did it on a flight a few years ago. Interestingly, our flight was one of the first out that day and another plane taxi’d up the taxiway before we took off first K they accessed the runway afterwards.
