Just got mine installed on a 10th gen civic hatchback. The muffler quiets the exhaust more than I want when the valves are open but retains the pops and burble. I could even go with a catless downpipe and the muffler would be able to tone down the sound when valve is closed. Very happy with my purchase.
Got a ecs tuning muffler with valves a day ago for my mk7 golf R and realized I had to use a vacuum source from my engine once I got the packaging smh. Now in the process of sending it back bc I stumbled across Valvetronic with way easier and straight forward installation

Does the mounting orientation of the universal muffler have any effect on functionality? I.E. if it were to be mounted in a sideways orientation as opposed to flat like normal?
It will not have an affect! The muffler can be installed in any Orientation and still work as intended.

I have a Camry, I was wondering if I can use a fuse adapter and use the accessory fuse as a power source?

Which way does a single outlet muffler go? I saw many different video showing the valve regulators installed both forward and afterward as well on the top and bottom of the muffler. Will the muffler come with a quick reference guide? Thanks
We usually have valve at the rear most point of the vehicle. other than that it doesn't really matter

I have a g20 330i with a gold plated valvetronic exhaust system made by you guys. I am having an issue where the Vacuum pump will turn on when I turn the exhaust on but then will pause for a second but then turn on again. This keeps going and doesn't turn off until I turn the vacuum pump off.
I dont know what the issue is but I believe it is affecting the right side of the exhaust. Could it be a leak in the vacuum lines? How can I troubleshoot this issue and make my exhaust system work perfectly again?

Serious question, I see a ton of exact muffler, box, remotes for sale as yours but with different names on them. What makes them different than yours if it’s the same parts? Some TH-camrs have cut them open to display the insides as the same as yours. Do you have a longer warranty maybe and better tech support?
Does yours allow for you to partially open or close the valves like others or open or close only?

The box is relatively the same. We are going to be doing some improvements to it soon. But yes there is a warranty with ours and our customer service will take care of you if any issues arise. Only fully open and closed
If I hard wire this to a fuse on my cars fusebox do I need to use the negative end of the cigarette lighter cable?
You must use it...Negative can go to any bare metal screw etc to provide ground wire.

Do I have to replace all of this when switching the red box or just the box itself , the box was making a loud noise whenever u turned on the car so they sent me a new one

My vaccum box dosent shuts off wven after valve are fully opened what could be the issue with vaccum box it used to work fine as shown in video .

I have some issues with mine , was working just fine and now it's like blocked , and i can't open it, it looks like some dirt got in the achaust pipe , would i solve the problem if i pressure wash the pipe ?

how do you reprogram the fob to the pump?
Help. No green light. Pressed and held the reset button… all it does is beep and holds the beep. No green light. No instructions anywhere how to pair the fob for this model.

when i press the button to open or close my valves sometimes it won’t always close or open is there a reason for that

How to reset the controller box
Most of the time my box doesn’t respond to the button . Do you know why ? Could it be a bad installation on my part ?

The light on the box is blinking in red and blue instead of green. The valves won't open or close. What should i do ?

I cannot reach my truck from the inside of my car so how am I supposed to bring the cord to the cigarette lighter back to the box??
You can extend the wires, it’s just power and ground!
How can i do a button or switch instead of remote? I would rather have a switch on my dash that i can use to turn on and off.
You could probably disassemble the fob and 3M tape it to one of the unused spaces for a button in your car. This is a neat idea and would be very convenient in not having to carry the remote fob. Might try this.
