Couldnt be any happier with my universal valved muffler from Valvetronic. Brutal sound at an affordable price. Its nice to see a proper comparison too, well done!
Please make another video comparing the other brands that use the same vacuum box, remotes, cases and why yours is better please. We are seeing many others that look exactly like yours with a different name stamped on it.
I just had my mufflers installed on my 2006 Pontiac GTO. I bought the car with a complete straight pipe(spintech 2.5inch exhaust with dual resonators and jba longtube headers) I loved the sound but I’m in California and work in a city where the PD hate loud cars. Driving it was stressful always looking over my shoulder for cops. These mufflers absolutely made me enjoy my car even more and I’m way more relaxed now. Definitely was worth the money.
I absolutely love my universal mufflers. I bought a pair for my cammed 2011 Camaro. This was exactly what I was looking for. Love how quiet it gets with the valves closed while also allowing you to be basically straight piped with them open. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
No offence and love your product but the welds on the competitor valved muffler seemed much better lol. However, I care more about the reliability and leakproof of the valve when it is being heated and cooled frequently. Do you use helical style valves?
Guys dont get the cheap brand u always regret and pay more to realize that it would it been better doing it right the first time those knock off brands dont last the quality of the motor is garbagge they cant handle the heat u will waste your money get the original hes right
Thank you for your video. I love the sound of your catback system on the F80 is amazing. The only issue I have is that I currently have an active Autowerke single midpipe, paired with a Dinan Axleback. All that to ask, since you are showcasing, the muffler section only does that mean that you will begin to make Axel back systems?
Unfortunately, the system will only be a full system. We recommend selling the other components and using that money to cover the cost of the new system. It’s a lot of work and it’s a lot of money but the sound quality and enjoyment you’ll get out of the system will be absolutely unparalleled.
It is a standalone unit. It does not need engine vacuum. This keeps all electronics inside the car, not exposed to elements. It also allows you to control the valves when the car is off
@@valvetronic What sort of timeline should i be looking at? 2 weeks? 2 months? If it's before the summer i'll get one, otherwise i won't have it in time

I have a 2020 mustang gt just recently put a mbrp race version exhaust a lil loud so I was looking to get these mufflers would it be fine even with a aftermarket exhaust?
So i brought the mufflers and placed it on the end of the car rear just by the tips but my car is so quiet even with the valves open i have flowmaster outlaw mufflers added to it in the middle what can i do to make the exhaust louder?
Are you sure your valves are opening? If the only thing you have is flowmaster outlaws and these mufflers it should be quite loud when opened. Outlaws don't do much.
the problem he had said is that it was running off of the engines vacuum lines, Valvetronic's exhaust uses a separate unit that pulls the vacuum so that you can keep it in the car and also be able to control the valve without the engine running. (good for cold starts)
I have read the Statutes regarding Exhaust mods in my State (Maine). It says it is illegal to modify the exhaust with Cutouts. I don't know if your Mufflers fitted with them is illegal as well??
It's technically illegal to modify an exhaust system in nearly every state, but if you don't have vehicle inspections then you're fine. Ask some local car groups to get a feel for your specific locality
If you have garage door buttons you can program it to those! Mr. Carsounds did a video of hard wiring to a switch in his car, but it is pretty complicated
Quick question is the internal designs of the mufflers different on a active and non active exhaust? Or could i just use my active tips and slap a different axle back muffler?
I love mine. Not a huge difference in sound except for certain rpm’s, but I’m sure that’s just my vehicle plus it still has stock midpipe. Is there a way for the valves to stay open when the vehicle turns off or does it just default back to open once there is no power?
China man all the way lol I was wondering what he’s trying to say I finally understood he got them boxes inthe back ground bulk supplied with his logo repacks them in America they all the same mostly. 😂 obviously importing a single unit from Ali express will cost a bomb that’s heavy stuff as he doesn’t mention says “online” store blah blah. The plus side his rebranded Chinese kit in a great box has a good 3” dis and will honestly help compared to the rest.
Boost activated dump: way cheaper, way smaller/easier to install, always closed unless you're under boost. Only "downfall" is you can't open it at a red light to impress the guy in the miata next to you.

how’s the install?
@@JUS_lt1 it’s definitely gonna have to be custom fab’d. I took it to a muffler shop to have them welded on.
i drive a cammed G8 that is currently fully straight piped with long tubes. would these mufflers quiet it down quite a bit when closed?
Totally unbiased 😂. eBay valves exhausts cost more than 40% less than a valvetronic and most are the exact same thing
How about a noise comparison? The CHP would test closed-open for the different muffler sizes. That's the most important thing.
Very quality video, a lot of good information here to consider before making the obvious decision!
Please help with an axel back config for my g37 coup
is vacuum holding the valve open or shut? Curious on a dual system...1 pump and 'Y' in the line to each muffler?
open, and yes Y

How does the Valvetronic control box work? It's still a vacuum setup but doesn't pull vacuum from the engine? I'm confused how the valve is actuating.
