    We can attest that our valves are the best in the world.
    Great to work with Joe and his team.

      I managed to bend the blade on track on a Helical valve. Exhaust temperatures too high :-) Mid engined & supercharged.

      @@lapin46 You'll need to use Helical valves with Inconel butterfly flap and spindle for the high temp applications :)

      @@15alex Thx for making me aware of these :-). For now I moved the valve further downstream, at least to the degree a mid engined install allows.

      $600 for an exhaust cut out valve? I would like the option for loud or quite exhaust but not at the price being more than a custom 3 " exhaust......

    $1,091.90 just for a couple valves...That would make my exhaust for my Lincoln around $4,568.9 without their controller kit....Us car guy's already lack common sense, but one thing I know for SURE is....My wife would Fkn KILL me!....Then revive me just so she could hold it against me...Cause lord know I ain't made of Lamborghini money...And that my fellow humans is Lamborghini money....Spent on an old Lincoln.
    They better be the worlds best of the best of the best for $545.95...EACH....Plus $56.37 for shipping...I think I'll pass...That's for folks with moneys to throw around....I think in the reviews people should mention the pricing on products because it IS a huge factor in deciding what's appropriate for us.

      These valves are necessary for mid or rear-engined cars where the exhaust valve is only a few feet from the engine, and the exhaust temps are still extreme. On a front-engine car, or lower power car, where the valves are in the back these super high-quality valves become less necessary.

    I made a pneumatic exhaust valve using a turbocharger wastegate actuator and a mid 90's Ford Crown Victoria throttle body. It looked similar in appearance to the ones in this video. Of course, I don't used my valve at 90% duty cycle, so it hasn't given me trouble.

    Do you have instruction on where this gets welded in the exhaust system?
    Where should I take my car to get this work down in Tampa FL?

    • @FabspeedMotorsport
      @FabspeedMotorsport 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To use the valves effectively you have to design the exhaust around using the valves, so they can't simply be welded into a factory system.

    It looks fantastic; finally, it will be a valve that will actually last like an OEM. Unfortunately, the price and the fact that it's just the valve are prohibitive. It needs a valve that attaches to a good-quality muffler that has a loopback. Example (not of quality but) valvetronic exhaust or varex. I would love to have something 4" that I could put on the car without worrying about failure

    I have the 60mm on my SVR. Like many others mine leak and rattle. Wish I could deposit the video but if you press on the valve the rattle stops. yes they are the OEM 60mm Helical electic actuating ones

    Does helical make boost actuated ones that open with positive pressure?

    are these universal to quiet down race cars cause im over the db rating for my local track my car didnt come stock with those new fancy active exhaust that the exotics all now have

    • @FabspeedMotorsport
      @FabspeedMotorsport 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, you can use these in your exhaust design to route the exhaust through an extra muffler to reduce the db's of your car.

    I have an rx7 naturally aspirated and I would like to add some of these vacuum actuated helical valves.
    My question is how do I tune them to open up at what ever rpm I want? lets say 5k rpm.
    Remember that my car is naturally aspirated so I would need the vacuum actuated ones.

    • @FabspeedMotorsport
      @FabspeedMotorsport 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tuning them using strictly vacuum is a complex situation. Better to use our electronic valve controller kit and link that to a standalone ECU to control the valves opening or closing at certain RPMs.

      Just use a vacuum relay and regulator. Or a evap solenoid on a switch.

      We have done thorough testing of all the major brands. Testing every supplier is unrealistic since there are hundreds.

    all your so called tier 1 automotive manufacturers, Volkswagen Auto Groep aka Audi, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, CUPRA etc all use electronic valves not these awful vacuum valves. And these vacuum valves don't even have auto closure lol

    • @FabspeedMotorsport
      @FabspeedMotorsport ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both of these statements are incorrect. All those brands used vacuum valves, and the Audi R8, Lamborghini Huracan, and Porsche GT4RS currently use vacuum valves. Also, these valves DO automatically close.
