- With double xp and money for the next 3 weeks and with the recent updates to koth, it's a good time to be playing right now. This video is highlights from a single round of King of the Hill recorded in 1440p@60fps on the C4G EU#5 server.

▶How to Play King of the Hill:
King of the Hill does not require any mods to play (unless you want to play a modded map or RHS koth). Just type 'King of the Hill' in the mission section of the search filter. Infantry only servers will have "INFANTRY ONLY" or possibly "INF" in the server name. Look for servers running the v16 version of King of the Hill.

Thermal sights have been downgraded I found recently. The image is more like regular night vision than thermal.
Oh really? I've not used them for a little while now. I'll have to check that out, thanks for the info. 👍
Yes they have ruined the thermals. Designator shows rocks and objects the same colour as people. Same for the Verona thermals. It basically makes thermals useless now. I spent half an hour scoping down with the designator and didn't identify one target. Easier to spot people using non thermals now. Such a shame.

What scope are you using? I’m guessing you need to put the marksman perk on to use it?
Never thought about using the 115 and using the perk to use a better scope. Been using the rco 2x scope I think it’s called but farther range would be nice.
Great video! Recently got the game, but I'm struggling to get over 25FPSin the cities in KOTH. I've got a GTX1080 and Ryzen 5 3600, and have followed your graphics guide, and I'm totally fine in single player, but KOTH I struggle. HOw do you get your game smooth (i've heard KOTH is usually laggy and there is little I can do about it)?

that game was a waste of money feels like dayz stand-alone instead of arma relies too much on gpu whereas arma has always been cpu intensive

Hey dude the underbarrel .50 does. When switching fire mode on the Type 115, one of the fire modes is the underbarrel .50 and it is single shot only.
Just out of curiosity , what fps are you hitting , i have an rx 6600 xt and im around 40-50 fps late game koth .Is there any fix for fps or not ?

Bro how you get that much fps I have ryzen 7 5700 and rtx 3060 ti with 16 gb ram and in battle I can‘t get more than 50 , on spawn nothing more than 120

You're pretty damn handy, never played KOTH mode usually do warlords which is a bit less intense :D

how do you have level and money, every time i join i just start with 20K and a free unlock on any weapon?
Stay in the zone and you get money if your outside you get nothing

You’d have to keep joining the same server.
But join codefourgaming KOTH servers, they got a bunch of them and they all keep your progress

Play on US2, its a lot better than the other servers with or without 2XP/$.
Infantry with no towers, no silly spawn vehicle. no silly 3rd person... come try the best server dude.
I mean, your video starts with you in 3rd person in a tower so talent might not really be your thing against good players, so take the challenge

Is that the Hardcore Infantry only server? That’s where I spend most of my arma time, but If theres another hardcore server I 100% want to check it out.

Yeah, it's fun to play on 1st person sometimes, but I prefer 3rd person. Not sure why, 1st person is more realistic and immersive.
