Nice! Just make sure when you reinstall the worm gear the bottom coil seats into the groove on the crankshaft and once you remove the tool the coils remain more or less evenly spaced. 👍🔧
Very nice. Mine is similar. I didn't have a bushing so I had to use a short nipple and reducing coupling instead. Plus I don't have a brazing torch. You might not have to braze that bushing because when you turn the bolt it tightens the bushing and there is no torque when you unthread the bolt. A little red loctite should suffice. Anyway, keep up the good work!
@@dubbssawshop 10 4 I just was thinking while I had the crank out I could have easily used a press to press it on. Long as I had a thick steel plate to fit between the crankshaft halves.

My bushing was a bit to small lol. I found a 3/8 and just dropped it into the 1/2" coupling.
Your smart man I just usually cuss a lot and use a flat head screwdriver lol
Been there done that a whole lot too lol.
That’s pretty nifty there TW
Thanks man. I appreciate you checking g out the vid. 👍🏻 you keep em coming too bud. Sometimes ya just gotta make the "special" tools if your able to
I guess YT forgot 2 send me the notification 4 this video, WTF YT
👍🆙D
Now that's a well fabricated worm gear puller Dubb's 🤘🏻🌲🪓
Thank you. Fairly easy and inexpensive, and gets the job done 👍🏻
Getting it back on is even more impossible without the special tool.
@@RC-Heli835 I take a deep 13mm socket and drive it down til it seats, then spread the coils back out evenly.
@@dubbssawshop Do you hit it with a hammer or press it some kind of way?
@@RC-Heli835 I just hammer it on. May not be the right way, but it's a way 🤣🤣
