Super helpful, I've never been able to play a randomizer before till now thanks to this video, if you want to play a randomizer, this is the video you need. only issue i ran into is i had to "extract" my soul silver file from the initial download folder in order to implement it into the randomizer application. also be careful on the websites, while the download themselves are safe, i had a couple pop-up's after clicking download that were fairly convincing in making me believe it was the website. almost all downloading will be done outside of pop-up's, if you get a pop-up, close it! it's not safe.
This is literally the only tutorial that works for me and the only person to walk you through how the randomizer works and what it does! (Also a tip i figured out is if your rom isnt showing up as an option in the randomizer, you have to extract it and move it to your desktop)

When i clicked to download the pokemon game of the wesbite there was only one file included even if I extracted it and stuff. It would not open whatsoever on Desmume either and I'm generally having sm trouble idk how to fix it
When saving, it doesn't show save log to show randomize complete. There's a file saved where I put it but it's no use. Any ideas? I followed your instructions.

Immediately got a virus on my pc. I followed the steps and downloaded the files like you said. Was forced to download Java because the pokemon games wouldn't open without one. Pc went to sh*t. Nothing is opening, everything takes forever to respond, pc keeps freezing. I uninstalled the programs, nothing is working. I don't know what to do...
I’m not sure what you could have done. If you followed the steps you should be good. I use and did this method myself. My PC is good and I stream off of it as well. I’m sorry that happened to you! Have you fixed it yet?

thank you for this i got tricked by the pop ups and got a virus but now its all cleaned up and i finally figured out the right way to do it.

99% of rom hacks won’t work because they move around data so only really basic rom hacks might work like if it’s just a player sprite that’s changed
