Nice playing on a beautiful snare drum. Not only is the Dunnett snare a fantastic looking snare but the feel, response and sensitivity is absolutely top shelf. I just bought the Grey raw finish version 14 x 6.5 six months ago and absolutely love it. Pricey .. but well worth it.
Thanks John, appreciate the comment and it's a great drum. Been wanting one for years and when Ronn posted up that ad on Facebook I had to jump on it. His drums are worth every cent in my opinion and every drummer should own a Dunnett snare
oh yeah - love my Raw Titanium 14x6 & my Desig2nate Gergo Borlai 14x6. These are my 2 favorite Snares to play. Worth every cent really. Keep that great Snare Videos coming. Love them.
Congratulations my friend! That's one fine instrument you have there! I've tried many different snare drums and regard Dunnett as thee very best! Of all your demos, this particular titanium model surpasses the others......by a long shot! The amazing thing about Ronn's drums are not just the tone and good looks but the unmatched level of sensitivity that one can only experience through playing one. Hope you're enjoying that one! Cheers!
Jan Patrick Lucas Thanks Jan and thanks for the very kind words and I know Ronn will see your comment at some stage. As soon as I landed back from NAMM I used this drum consistently for 12 months for pretty much everything.
Great to hear from you. You do a great job with these videos. Demos are common but your approach is unique. As wonderful as the titanium is I actually prefer Ronn's magnesium drum. To me it's sort of in between aluminum and titanium.
Despite what you say about handling different tunings, for me it still really hits the zone at high tension. I have a VK titanium, and it's the same; it really likes being cranked, and feels most comfortable in that zone. Nice looking snare though. I have a couple of Dunnetts and they are a joy to play.
Why so much reverb? No biggy, just wondering. What Amazing snare drum man! I'd love to have one at some point. Love your channel, keep up the great work!!
Plus I like the fact that when you play and demo snare drums you play as if you were playing music rather than just jerking and playing a bunch of senseless chops because at the end of the day we use snare drums for music not drum solos. Unless you're Terry Bozzio.🤣
Nathan I will take this compliment and run with it, that's pretty much the idea I went with and do in all my videos especially being a gigging drummer.
I absolutely love the high tuning! Thanks for sharing so many different drums with us!
My pleasure, high tuning is amazing on this snare.
Beauty of a drum and nice that the snare basket is loose too 👍
It is a brilliant drum and one of my all time favourites, the loose basket....I am glad you noticed that.

I love raw titanium there is just something special about it. Will keep them coming if you keep watching them.
They're amazing drums - mine's a 7" with DC hoops and it's a thing of complete beauty!
I am definitely a fan of deeper drums, 6.5 and 7" is my go to.
pfiehh that DW bassdrum sounds also killer!
You should hear it in person, just sounds savage.

Sounds amazing, one of many snares that I would like to have. The empyrean sound doesn’t compares with this dunnett
Two different animals but the Dunnett is defiantly obtainable.
Great look, great sound. And great demo always. Blessings
Thanks mate, I was playing it just the other day, never disappoints.
@@IAMDRUMMER Thanks for writing. Love your channel. Stay safe and all the best.
Thanks brother, stay safe out there.

I have always wanted a VK and will get one at some point post pandemic. Dunnett knows what he's doing when it comes to snares.
Actually its 6.5 x 14!
Thanks for chiming in Ronn.
Sounds goood!
Thanks Julian, hope you enjoyed the video.
Hi
Which one is super loud and versatile ?
Dunnett Titanium
DW aluminium
Pearl reference
Dw edge snare
Thanks
All different animals but the Dunnett and DW will take your head off.
@@IAMDRUMMER Thanks buds .. Thinking to buy reverse edge.
Best snare review on youtube!!!
Thanks man 😀
What batter head are you using?
I think this was a coated G1 but it came with a Remo black suede and since then I have gone back to the black suede.
Black Suede Single or double ply?
Ambassador.
Thanks Brother. Have a good one
No worries, always happy to help.
Sounds amazing. I am on the verge of ordering a Tourbillon to serve as snare 2 to my DW Bozzio snare 1. Any advice on different size recommendations?
Did you get it, keen to see and hear it.
Being that it's 8 lug and has cast hoops it sounds so much warmer and has much more punch than the DW.
You should make a video on a Tama Warlord snare at some point.
I will try and get my hands on one, I will put the feelers out.
50 strand wires? Holy shit
I never thought I would say this, they work really on this drum.
@@IAMDRUMMER
Actually, the snare has 42 strand wires. Love the video.

Ah yes the verb, well a long story short it's all room and there was little I could do about it.....I get this comment a lot.
@@IAMDRUMMER I dig it. The room sounds good.
You can hear the reverb from his voice in the intro
Sounds and looks great, only wish I could afford one, lol. $900-$1000, for a snare drum is pretty expensive.
Worth every cent though.
@@IAMDRUMMER Yep
Lovely snare! Bit heavy on the reverb tho...
I couldn’t do anything about the reverb.
How much did that Titanium Dunnett snare drum cost?
A bit but was totally worth it.
I think you need one....

Really? I wonder if you could tell the difference in a blindfold test with a bunch of snares. Great idea for a video? I'd like to see that.
I welcome you to come and help me do that, would be an interesting sound experiment.
