The Gamecube is CLOSE to being the best system Nintendo ever made. It was ahead of its time, and incredibly forward thinking. It was the most powerful console of its generation (only being limited by its small disks which limited things like textures). The ONLY system that can rival it and possibly be considered better is the Switch, and only because it's portable.
Same man, the gamecube was the first time I bought a system for myself. To this day Metroid prime is still my favorite game of all time and I've played everything from mobas to virtual trading card games to fps. I love Metroid and love GameCube m
God watching this makes me extremely sad, i remember 10 year old me selling my game cube and 27 games for the first assassins creed that had just came out like 4 other xbox games. if i could go back in time and change one thing, i would have beat my 10 year old ass for even thinking about selling my game cube

no they dont care about their Publicity at all If they did, they would have send the manuals aswell, as they do have a bunch. (or printed them.. they sometimes reprint them and include them) Depending on your Location you get good lots or not.. they just grab them from the most local store and send them over (and use the storage if its not in stock)

Let me tell you why none of them have manuals, i bought all of my GameCube collection from GameStop years ago, and many times it would not come with a manual... so the next time I would go into GameStop I would look for other games to purchase and if I see one I already had on the shelf, I would open the case and check for a manual. If there was one in there, I’d take it. And I bet GameStop employees did this too.

You know why they gave you the nice stuff with the cases? They looked at your past videos, checked their recent orders and found yours, and tagged your account with a comment saying to send the best quality options to you. This makes GameStop look better, then when us viewers order stuff and just get loose discs the excuse is it was the “only stock on hand”. I’d bet money that they went out of their way to send you cases.
The reason Spawn was in the Xbox version was because Namco got Todd McFarlane to make the figures for them and the boss (Necrid) so as a trade off they promoted Spawn.
This is a great haul, especially those Zelda games for the price you got them. Kudos to Gamestop for keeping these games affordable, unlike others who try to rip you off for retro gaming
It's a shame it's the least zelda like game of them all. Open world? Nope. Long rewarding story? Not really. I'm sure as a multiplayer zelda it's fun but it seriously lacks in the single player department.

I was looking thru all the gamestop retro games. Nostalgia hit me, and my childhood past. I miss simplier times when you would go to school and get everything done quick as you could to start playing games when you got home. Now we have an over-abundance of games and they dont seem to have the same impactfulness when you buy digital games compared to the old disks and cartridges. Then again, I used to think technology of games were basically magical when I was a kid, and now they seem so much more basic. I've been watching a lot of youtubers collecting old games, and even started getting some of my favorites back. It's pretty fun, as long as you dont mind spending some money on old games.

mark shaw hates that game. I thought it was going to be a Pearl Harbor game and instead I got maybe a level or two and the rest was another in the jungle WW2 game. I was pretty disappointed with the game. Haven’t played it since the year it got released though, so maybe it has aged better
Master Quest isn't a new dungeon, it's a complete re-work of EVERY single dungeon (even the mini-dungeons) to make them more reliant on puzzle mechanics and overall more challenging. The 3DS version has you taking double damage from attacks as well, but the GCN release doesn't feature this. If you like OoT, I highly recommend MQ, it's a breath of fresh air playing through such a classic game through a new scope of sorts. The dungeons are the same, but also completely different, you won't be really able to rely too much on your memory and nostalgia to guide you through.. some of them actually require thought. It's a nice change of pace over the usually very easy and welcoming Zelda pacing. The overworld and everything outside of the Dungeons is the same, though, except for the game being mirrored (I think?).
That Zelda bonus disc has 2 versions of Ocarina of Time. First is normal and the second is Master Quest where all the dungeons including Ice Cave (maybe other little ones as well, I can't remember anymore) are completely re-arranged. World map is same though.
I never got to play it but I keep hearing people say compared to 1 and 2 it's hot garbage. Again I can't say personly but one and two are definitely great.
John Doe it’s a good game if you really like Viewtiful Joe and wanna play the characters in a “smash Bros” style game. It’s nothing like the first 2 games so I can see where the complaints come in. I definitely didn’t play it as much since those types of games are more fun with friends- but it’s a good one to check out if you find it cheap

Hey, pro tip with getting the stickers off cleanly, use a damp cloth to moisten the stickers before you peel, anything that's left behind can be scraped up easily with something not so harsh like fingernails, or whatever you use without leaving damage or any stickiness behind.
I'll never trade in my systems. I still have my Platinum Gamecube I got back in March of 2007 and it still works after not being used for 5 years. I also have my Gamecube games and their in decent shape.
i play gamecube on my wii though :). I did fix my gamecube as it needed new pads but that all I did. (want it original condition) Also fixed the ports as some were not working so now they work

I think it's funny that all these youtubers that talk about games are like "when you're a kid and the new console is coming out you trade everything in." When I don't think I ever met someone that did that.
People always complain about not getting manuals from retro games they get. This scared me when I went to worlds game store to get twilight princess for the GameCube. It came with the game, a memory card, the manual, the health and safety manual, and a subscription to Nintendo power magazine all in almost mint condition.
This is also why I want to get the game cube again because when I was a kid just starting my way into early gaming I’ve wanted to play things like day of reckoning 1 and 2 some of the other wrestling games and others that were on the game cube at the time so seeing this made my eyes widened up

A good hidden gem on the gamecube is Medal of Honor rising sun. It plays with more modern controls than most fps games at that time.

@@StormsparkPegasus apparently alot of people lost the disk but the player is useless without it you can find used gameboy players in good condition for pretty cheap but finding the disk is hard there aren't many of them last time I looked I only found two listing and they were both expensive one seller wanted like $70 for just the disc although that was a few months ago

Hey, pro tip with getting the stickers off cleanly, use a damp cloth to moisten the stickers before you peel, anything that's left behind can be scraped up easily with something not so harsh like fingernails, or whatever you use without leaving damage or any stickiness behind.

I'll never trade in my systems. I still have my Platinum Gamecube I got back in March of 2007 and it still works after not being used for 5 years. I also have my Gamecube games and their in decent shape.

I only got into GC this year but I've got a 'Mega Replay' (used games/movies) like 5 min away so I went EVERY day since April to be sure I got the good pickups when people would sell their good stuff.... That store is so awesome that I could afford to wait for MINT complete copies of all 19 GC games Ive picked up so far - 4 of which are mint CIB zelda GC games (all but the twilight princess one) just yesterday!!! They have a buy 5 get the 6th free, AND 20% off entire purchase for every 10 visits to the store (you just log in on a tablet at the counter....no purchase needed to build up to 10). I. Love. Mega. I think it's funny that all these youtubers that talk about games are like "when you're a kid and the new console is coming out you trade everything in." When I don't think I ever met someone that did that.
People always complain about not getting manuals from retro games they get. This scared me when I went to worlds game store to get twilight princess for the GameCube. It came with the game, a memory card, the manual, the health and safety manual, and a subscription to Nintendo power magazine all in almost mint condition.
I order a Zelda : Windwaker from them. I got a disc but it's come in 2 pieces....
