I'm one of those people who found you from your Iceland food video when we were going to Iceland in 2018! And since then never missed a video from you guys. ❤️❤️
Great to see you in Iceland, not cheap, but full of volcanic activity, especially at Grindavik and on the peninsula. Another fantastic episode guys thank you for allowing us to be part of your armchair tourists. Be safe, take care. njóttu tímans á Íslandi 😇👍🇮🇸❄️
We did this exact food tour with our daughter when she was just under 2 (who is now 3) and it was amazing!! We just completed Switzerland and Italy and used lots of your content as inspiration. So amazing to see this tour get some screen time it was so so delicious and would absolutely recommend.
I've been watching you guys since way before you were married. I like how in recent years, you have shown more about the foods of the places you visit.
Those memories of your First tip bravely camping having to buy clothing until your cases turned , I remember those videos 😜 . Its lovely you Gone back and re-visited those place again 🥰. With many new friends joining you .
OMG this brings back such wonderful memories we were in Iceland exactly a year ago and went on this food tour!! Iceland is such a stunning country full of natural beauty its so special you guys get to go back and experience it with your little ones :)
You guys are inspirational. The adventures you are giving you 2 gorgeous children is priceless. We live in the Netherlands and watch your vlogs with my 2 boys every week. Its great to see the love and passion you have for the nordic countries. Thank you for entertaining us and inspiring us ❤❤
I remember when you had to get takeaway last time and sat on the wall!❤ I love traveling and trying authentic foods... I'm on 25 countries so far! Love your channel.
The Icelandic hot dogs were my FAVORITE. Super cheap and open late which was a lifesaver when on a college trip. Icelandic hot dogs and Norwegian hot dogs are top tier
Trust the Icelandic to invent the "emperor's new clothes" hot dog.... The "not dog". 😮😂 My Icelandic great grandfather Arnfinnur would have laughed his head off ! Love from Oslo, Norway ❤😊
Went there last Summer. Can highly recommend doing a round tripwith a CAMPER and ignore the Golden circle if you can (just get the highlights fast in fast out) then its one of the most beautiful places you can visit. 1 Day Reykjavik is enough btw. Its not that big ... :D
Thank you I am planing for 6 thai freinds who will come with me to explore ICELAND in June 2025. I just have a good time for 3 days outside Reykjavik this June.. So Next year will be good and great time for me to explore Reykjavik.. surely. Best Wishes from STOCKHOLM - SWEDEN 🌼🌻🌻🌻🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
Your last Reykjavik food tour vlog was the first time i came across you guys it was back in 2018 i guess, me and my wife tried all the things you suggested we loved the rye bread ice cream at Loki and Lobster Soup at sea baron
That food tours looks so cool. I forwarded this to a dear friend of mine who is going to Iceland for her husbands 40th birthday. I hope they can enjoy Iceland as much as you guys did. Hunter as always was brave. I am not sure I would have been brave enough to try the last one you guys did on the toothpick. I soooo want to get on an expedition with you guys though, they look so fun!! Can't wait to!!
Oh, how I miss Iceland. We did the food walk on July 8th - our first day. It's such a great start. My son ain't that fond of fish, he's a big meat eater, but he fell head over heels in love with the Artic Char dish. So much so that when we got back 13 days later and were going to have dinner somewhere he immediately said: Let's go to Mesinn and have the Artic Char. He could choose anything and choose the fish dish. I am still a bit in shock. 🙂 The dish was just as delicious the 2nd time. Looking forward to the rest of your trip. Hugs from Sweden. 🔵🟡🔵🟡🔵
No way!! Haha we did this tour 2 days after you 😉 aww sorry glad to hear it!! As parents nothing makes you more proud than seeing your kid try strange and different foods in another country
Fantastic!! My favorite things were the glacier hike and the lava show in Reykjavik. Bucket list to go back in the winter months to see the northern lights though.@@flyingthenest
We watched your older videos when we were planning our iceland series and we didncafe loki. Loved it. Best smoked fish and bread was amazing. We did the ring road. It was so much fun we never went inside the church either. I will go back again in summer. Loved every minute of it. Looking forward to more Iceland videos. I remember you got the soup. They know how to cook food in iceland.
@@flyingthenest it was quite an adventure, we got stuck in a blizzard in myvatn but otherwise our Iceland bingo card was pretty full. We always plan to much and then are toast at the end of the day. If you ever get bored there’s a good playlist. I can’t wait to go back tbh. But in summer vs end of winter. The roads were pretty treacherous in the north. It’s so friggen gorgeous through. When we were landing in Keflavik we saw the volcano erupting on its second eruption. So epic guys! Hope your group trip goes well and you get to see northern lights.
This was so fun. I dissected sharks in college and remember (how could I ever forget) what they smelled like. You were SOOOOOO brave to eat it !! Did the alcohol wash away the taste? Loved how you remembered to include Hunter, Jess. She had fun too with the fry on the toothpick.
I remember your previous trip to Iceland. I can't believe how that time has flown by! Iceland is definitely on my list of countries to visit now you have reminded us of how lovely it looks. I think I will give the fermented shark a miss! :)
I remember watching your last trip to Iceland and how Jess was walking around in that yellow jacket all the time as you lost your luggage. Wow I have been following you for a while :)
I so enjoyed this video, especially since I just loved travelling to Iceland two years ago. My only ‘criticism’? I wish it were longer than 18 minutes😀
Wow, I walked past so many of these places when I was in Iceland last year and had no idea they were famous for different foods! I should've booked a food tour while I was there!
Went to Iceland 8 years ago and our luggage got lost too! We had the blue lagoon booked the next day so had no choice but to buy swimwear in the closest shop and it was the most expensive swimwear I own🙈
Great vlog as always! Fermented shark. Not for me! I am from Norway and eat fish in any way, shape or form except that and the Swedish Surstrømming! Keep up the good work. Be safe!
I love that Hunter participated with a chip for the fermented shark! And her "FULL VIKING" was priceless!
haha us too! we love when she gets invovled!
Your last Iceland video was how I found you guys when I was prepping for my own trip to Iceland in 2019. Still watching 5 years later 🎉
