    from an italian: soak the clams in cold water, lemon and flour for an hour, at minimum.. rinse several times. The flour draws any sand out of the closed clams. Buon appettito

    I am always surprised you don't have mote likes! You do such an excellent job of explaining. This recipe is very similar to how we cook local mussels.

      How To Cook Great My local stores were out of Mikes Hard Lemonade so I used lemon lime Gatorade instead and it was delicious!!

      please don't.... In Italy we don't mix cheese or cream with fish/ seafood.... It seems you want Alfredo sauce ;)

    I love everything about this recipe except for the clams that went into the pan already open. Clams that don't close when they hit he pan should be discarded. But what a delicious recipe. good job

    if all your clams are cracked open like that before you start to cook them, then they are not fresh anymore.

    Instead of using white wine use pure green grapes juice see the difference of taste, why would I mixed my food with alcohol? Damn seriously i hate people when they add wine or other type of alcohol in food.

      You would be surprised how many dishes use alcohol.

      There is no alcohol in the final dish because it all evaporates.
