it's funny how quickly things evolve. 2 years ago people are thinking the "cash pile" might be needed to build out new factories to produce 20million cars/yr. by 2030... Now the cash is needed for computer processing build out. new factories are not on anyone's mind now.
Why would Tesla and xAI need Grok service enough to need external AI services? My guess is that Grok is going to be included in Robotaxi for talking with customers.

It has taken the statement that Telsa will increase AI compute from 35K H100 equivalent to 85K H100 equivalent by year end and ASSUMED this will all be achieved with Dell and Supermicro servers running Nvidia GPU's The omitted Dojo from their calculations which can also be measured in compute units of H100 equivalence. The question lost of us would like to know the answer too is what proportion of Tesla's AI Training compute growth will be achieved with Dojo versus Nvidia?

There's another layer not being talked about: full FSD, whether in a private car or Robotaxi, opens up a whole new world of entertainment possibilities. Bundling FSD w/ Netflix, cable, internet, etc. brings a whole other revenue bonanza if the occupants can all watch.
OTOH, IF you’re confident you’ll be rolling out RoboTaxi in 2026 and expect a massive profit from it in 2027, and IF you need $10B more than you have on hand to make it happen… you raise capital NOW, while stock price is pretty reasonable.
Would you discuss the possibility and consequences of shareholders not voting for the compensation plan? Robyn Dunholm said it was difficult to get the ratification of Texas but what about the compensation? Will Elon leave? Will Tesla thrive without him? Will Robotaxi scale without him?

Look at the old graph for Apple. Look at the huge rise over 15 years. Then zoom in on an all time high 2012 then calculate the % fall. Then all time high 2015 then calculate the % fall. Then look at 2021 and calculate the % fall. Then look at where it is now. If hold you win imo. Your choice, don't pay attention to the interweb.

Dell is about 20 miles north of Giga Texas in Round Rock. The new Samsung plant is about 20 miles east of Dell in Taylor.
