Was looking for Mike Siegel matches and came across this one, looked interesting with Nick Varner. As I started watching the video, the referee came into view and low and behold It was a man whom I am proud to call my second DAD!! His name is Bruce Baker and I lost him in 2010 to cancer. He taught me a lot about the game and put me in charge of his pool hall in Fostoria, Ohio in 1989. I miss him dearly!! never knew he refereed this match until today!! Thank you for uploading this video because it brought back many great memories of Bruce!! R.I.P Bruce!!!

it is so nice to watch players who know how to play straight pool. Mr Garcia was perfect for a straight pool analyst and commentator. Knowledgeable and a very professional demeanor and a very pleasing voice. Spoke like a real professional. I'll be grateful and happy to watch any straight pool match with Mr Garcia in the booth. Thumbs up!

I’m from Rochester NY and have seen Sigel play many times, I watched him run 200 balls and entire time he walked around table talking to a guy about cars. He was trying to determine which Cadillac model he was getting. I bet he has more money than 99% of players.

Mike is an extremely entertaining player to watch. I saw him in tournaments and a most incredible exhibition match against Pete Margo .The match was a 500 point er , 0 to 250 and 251 to 500 catch up with a break in between. Mike was out in 6 or 7 innings with a final score of 500 to 74. He opened with 137, and had other runs of 80 and 94. One match I wont forget.

I was at this event...Sigel was handed his hat by an inexperienced (at the time) John Schmit who hadn't really played any 14.1 before this...Sigel broke his cue, acted like a total jerk most of the time...Efren played great, ran 140 against Dallas West, Souguet was great throughout the event beating Efren...played flawlessly in the final against a wonderful young Chinese player who also played great...Ralf beat him to the shot and just shut him down...
