Why did Margaret-Ann(e) get two names when her first name was already twice as long as the other two’s? Anyway, please tell your family that it’s a lovely clip. I hope they enjoyed their time on the show.
@@Kre8iviT27 I know women that are identical twins and one of them had identical triplets. Poor woman, she had 3 boys and then 13 months later had a baby girl, so basically 4 babies at one time, but lol they are all in their 40's now so she survived. Her twin sister only had single births.
Multiples run in families, especially on the female side. So think twice before marrying a woman that has six sets of twins in her closer family ;) Also: the woman's questions an the audience's reaction were priceless, I cried laughing.
We once knew a fellow who was a triplet. His parents had at least another set of triplets & several sets of twins. What are the odds of that happening?
Sounds similar to my great grandparents on my father's side. They ended up with around 17 children. They had quite a few sets of twins and I think there might have been a set or two of triplets.
I know a family that has three sets of twins, plus seven other children. There were 12 kids in the family when the oldest twins were 12 years old and the 13th child was all born two months before the oldest twins' 15th birthday.
A former neighbor had two singles- boy and girl then twin girls. Triplet girls came along after her second marriage. The single girl had boy-girl twins. One of the girl twins had boy twins and the other had boy-girl twins. Of the triplets, one had twin girls. I haven't been arsed to look it up but wonder if there's a hereditary thing for women to consistently release more than one egg some or all months. Since none of this family's multiples are identical, it would make sense.
Yes. It's exactly as you say, the tendency to release more than one egg at a time can be passed down, and thus non-identical twins can run in families. Identical twins apparently happen by pure chance. (Non identical twins also tend to happen more in older women, who are more likely to release more than one egg at a time.)
Yes, it is in my family. I am one of seven girls, three boys, all single births. All my sisters except for me have non identical twins. One sister had two sets of twins within two years. Her second set of twins, which were girls, both have a set of boy-girl twins. All the other twins are boys, and so while they will not of course hyper ovulate, they can pass this down to their daughters. And while my mother had all single births, she had lots of cousins that had twins and triplets. So it definitely came from her side of the family.
This was free payola from their advertiser. When ads for cigarettes were legal. So was smoking on the set. You need to see the episode with an old fella with a son, a grandson, and a great-grandson all age 5...and one boy piped up eerily, outta nowhere, *twice* to the host, (referring to him and Henry Morgan), "You and him are gonna die, 'cause you smoke!" Everyone laughed really nervously, was so awkward. And unfortunately, it was also a true prediction for the both of them....
This is my Grandmother and Peter is my father, thanks for posting this!
Guyuteful Did anyone else in the family have multiples?
bet she isn't.

How many children did they end up having?

I always laugh when I see him just casually hand that carton of cigarettes as a giveaway lol
I was flabbergasted when I first saw the prize for cigarettes. OMG that was the 50's.
The way he phrased it, it seemed the cigarettes were for the kids. 😅
Here is your carton of smokes, mother.
Think she needs booze more😂
I thought each kid was going to get a carton of smokes.
😂
Now that would have been hysterical. Get them started on Winston's a.s.a.p.
On one episode Garry Moore handed a carton of cigarettes to an 11-year-old girl.

Questions, by Jayne Meadows and, mind of audience-priceless! Whoa-hang, about; six children have 'more, than six legs?' I doubt it.
Six children have twelve legs, typically.
As a triplet, I pray for the mother 😂
My grandma on my dad's side was one of 12, and there was 2 sets of twins among the 12, her being one of them.
Tha was. A. Nice program. And respect. Poor the parent. And A Reward. For the future of the children xx
What are the odds? 78 million to 1 OUT OF THIS WORLD!
They need to bring this show out again
They would just make it filthy and unwatchable, like they do everything.
@@holylandfan3275
Nonsense. RuPaul can have Jayne Meadows spot on the panel.
They would make a risque version. No thanks. I will just enjoy these.

I think the odds have improved, thanks to IVF and fertility treatments.

My Uncle Bill was an identical twin and he ended up having identical twin sons of his own.
"Here's a carton of Winstons for you, Mrs. Walker" "Um, thanks, but I don't smoke."
If you don't smoke then save them for the kids. A birthday present for the youngest set.
Odd are not as great now that doctors can help parent have more at a time!
Beautiful children!
Well you can say she won a wrestling contest.....
"Have you ever seen twelve bluer eyes in your life?"
It's in black and white...
Back when no one realized how dangerous cigarette-smoking is.
Big Tobacco knew😡
Back when cigarettes were simply tobacco, then all the tar and additives and crap got in them.
The first set 2 boys 1girl and the second set 2 girls and 1 boy.

Umm... what did the lady mumble @2:53?
She got pregnant twice and gave birth to 6 children!
And they all lived! Back then multiples often didn't make it. What a lovely family.
2:10 "women have more than 6 legs?" Looking at the numbers of shoe they have🤔😂
they look like brothers and sisters but not exactly the same
Fraternal triplets, but the possibility still exist of 2 of them being a twin.
And this was natural -- not IVF.
They gave her a cartoon of cigarettes.
She must have been popping eggs like crazy !!!
I love how one of the prizes are cigarettes. Imagine today if that was a prize.
He gave her a carton of cigarettes as a prize. Wow

Saw that episode...one of my favorites!
A bit misleading with the number of legs.
what? the kids didn't get a case of Winstons each?
I knew a family with 3 sets of twins. Naturally
He never said how old the younger ones are. They look about 6 or 7.
They look like they are 8 years old.
They look like they are 10 years old.
Calling her kids objects..I don't think that's right.
It was only relative to the question asked, so the panalists could beat around the bush. That's how she won the $40
@@jrr6947
Don't forget that carton of Winstons. There's another $2.39 dollars right there.
Technically everything is a object. I would say any noun is a object if you want to be loose.
those children aren't right....sumpin wrong..why didn't they win cigarettes
That 14 year old girl look like a 37 year old
The younger boy looks terrified 😭
At 14 year girl grew up to be a nun
