Testing, testing, is this thing on... I pray that you are watching this Coach Manny Diaz. We NEED to be 'the team to beat again'. Move us forward... The 🙌
One of my favorite Canes pump up vids. Some truly awesome plays, and a chill-inducing speech in the beginning. Nice work CanesFreak, all your vids are awesome. LET'S GO CANES!! Time to dominate!
SUPERB work as usual young man. You should do one on the defense. You seem to have a lot of the great highlights of Brown, Maryland, Kennedy and all those 80s and 90s Bosses. KEEP IT COMING. It makes the off-season a little more bareable.
CANEFREAK. My main man does it again. I look forward to seeing everyone single one of you out at Sunlife this year, at EVERY game, yelling your ass off
This video makes me so proud to be a Hurricane Fan! Yes Sir... I am so ready for the season. Let's go Canes! I plan on seeing you there this season. I will be at the Field for at least 3 home games and about 2 away games.
I have a new hypothesis, the game was at Florida according to that scoreboard, the only answer is 2002, the rest of the country saw it on CBS, while locally it was on ESPN Plus, because in 2003 at Miami, was a highly anticipated game in the early season as a Week 2 game
Brad Kunz who played for the U in the bcs bowl is my coach and he is the best coach ive EVER had im so glad he showed up my junior year to coach because the influance the U gave him, he is putting towared us and we ARE winning the state championship this year no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea having an Andre Johnson or a Jeremy Shockey to throw to does make thins a lot easier, But Dorsey also had the intangibles. Leadership, somethng The Canes haven't seen in a decade.
miami was not a football school until the 1970s...the school or alumni never invested money in athletics...as soon as they did...BOOM!! it took off over night, miami still till this day has played for more and won more titles than anyone in the country since 1983.
true he did have leadership but i think that had a lot to do with the fact that he had the pleasure of being on the "probation" canes...when he got there they had a lot of guys that were from that late 90s era, ed reed, al blades, dan morgan, reggie wayne, moss etc...he had to be the leader along with those guys, if he was the total team leader who knows, that being said he had great leadership skills...the new canes have to develop the same thing...as long as golden stays true they'll be fine.
I love the University of Miami! I love everything about the city of Miami. Like Lamar Thomas said, "I'm a Cane for life," facts! It's all about the "U" baby, for real!
As a USC fan I agree w/you. The U is a football manufacturing plant/factory. But I think what Miami needs is not only for there home grown talent to stay home but they need that COACH. Example Jimmy Johnson even the coach before him I think his name is shellenberger(sp My bad if i got it wrong). But yea they need to find that coach and get they talent back
It's January 2020, almost nine years after this video was made, and I'm still waiting. We've had some good seasons, but have been mostly mediocre. I gotta have faith that things will change, and we'll return to the glory days!!! Until the day they bury me, it's all about The U!!! Special shoot-out to Dr. J Renelus
true...the current teams and fans of current teams that are winning LOVE to have revisionist history...michigan won it in 1997, the last time they ever got close to a title was 1948...
Congrats. A football player took a hard hit. That's SUCH a rarity. Nevermind the score at the end of the game against the 6-6 team that forfeited it's rights to a bowl..
Everyone asks what we have won recently. Before last year the last time Auburn had won anything it was 1957. Before we "lost" to Ohio state it had been about 30 years since they were relevant. Before Pete Carrol USC hadn't won shit sine John Mckay was there, in the 70's. Alabama is finally relevant again for the first time in almost 20 years. Before 2005 it had been since 1969 since Texas had won anything. Miami won 5 titles and played for 9 over a 20 year span, success breeds haters.
Testing, testing, is this thing on... I pray that you are watching this Coach Manny Diaz. We NEED to be 'the team to beat again'. Move us forward... The 🙌

It was a week 2 matchup, and it was a Saturday night game nationally televised...AT MIAMI, that game had them at Florida
I have a new hypothesis, the game was at Florida according to that scoreboard, the only answer is 2002, the rest of the country saw it on CBS, while locally it was on ESPN Plus, because in 2003 at Miami, was a highly anticipated game in the early season as a Week 2 game

The CANES will shock the world this season!!!!!!
Da U is on its way back
@jgcane I think it's Dan Morgan. He played for the Panthers but was very injury prone. He retired within the last 3 years I think.
Wow. Great job Freak.
i love MIAMI
Oh for the glory days of the U.
well the 2004 game was the peach bowl so it was a nationally televised game.
Miss those days!
miami was not a football school until the 1970s...the school or alumni never invested money in athletics...as soon as they did...BOOM!! it took off over night, miami still till this day has played for more and won more titles than anyone in the country since 1983.
I know, I was there at the Georgia Dome watching it
@5canesNatcham ..... very well said.

Al Golden coming back, time to bring back the Dynasty in South Beach!
Congrats. A football player took a hard hit.

With AL Golden back plus the No. 10 recruiting class of 2014, things will be starting to look up
