@Not_Bdew When it comes to a Gauntlet Level, you need to consider it from all perspectives. Metamorphosis is amazing, but you can't really play it on mobile without killing your phone or tablet or whatever, and also, with all of the decoration and fake orbs, the gameplay is a solid medium demon. If it didn't have these problems, then yes, Metamorphosis should have gotten at least 3rd.
From all 20 entries, there are 2 things that they have in common. 1. They're all made by amazing creators. 2. They're all have the power to lag my phone and desync the music. Edit 1: How many of you guys facing the same problem? Edit 2: What phone do you guys use to play GD that cause that problem? Mine's Redmi 13C.

Hey Robtop I think you did well over the years and geometry dash has grown exponentially. The only feature that would make it perfect is to see is that you can filter legendary levels, or rated levels with a filter for more easy finding for levels that peaple want to try. Keep going ;)

I think that besides all the amazing levels the came out of this contest, I love all the new music that I got introduced to. I wasn't a huge NCS listener before this but nearly every song from the top 10 is now on my liked. Just goes to show how truly expansive and awesome the geometry dash community it :)
This was the biggest favourite to win the contest and now this happens, we better get an explanation because I couldn’t get the idea of this level not getting a mythic rating just because of this rigged contest…
Seeing all of these levels come out has been one of my favorite moments in this game, just like it was with the world gauntlet contest. I hope we have many more of these contests in the future!

Own Display being in 14th place instead of top 1-5 is insanity, it's almost Mythic worthy, the same quality and optimization as Rage Quit (33K obj) and the deco looks insanely clean

The entries for this contest are absolutely incredible, from the movie-like transitions to realistic artworks to 3D effects they all left me amazed by how far GD has come from 7 years ago where I started playing it. GD def needs the 3rd or 4th gauntlet to store these masterpieces!
This must have been impossible for you guys to judge this. Along with my entry. There are so many that are incredible! Definitely the most competitive contest GD has seen.
This will be remembered as one of Geometry Dash's craziest events!! So glad that I got to be able to see all of this unfold and I hope we can have more events like this!
Every single controverses : Metamorphosis not even being in the top 10 while being the fan favourite level… (Small edit note : it only got legendary so it’s doubly robbed 😭) Own Display getting 14th while just having better decorations the most liked mythic of the game. Summer Gallery “Left the chat” Slasher being so high up for no reason Wannacry getting Myhtic while Magistro isn’t Bussin (a joke level) being placed at top 7 Osiris not even getting a mention Neozenith having beautiful decoration but atrocious gameplay and still manages to get in the top 10 (this one is debatable) (small note here : the gameplay got updated and the most frustrating factors got nerfed so this one doesn’t apply anymore I guess)

This gauntlet has the craziest entries I’ve ever seen in any gauntlet contest. It really pushed creators to explore and learn about 2.2, I think it really progressed the game faster. Good initiative rob.

Honestly pretty good selection BUT THERE WERE ROBBERIES! Stuff like “Own display” only 14th and “Metamorphosis” only 11th, that’s crazy I thought both would be top 5 or at least Metamorphosis. Still tho this would shape up 2 amazing gauntlets!

It was quite fun participating! Although I rushed mine because of school reasons and only did 4 days of real work on it it's still cool seeing levels coming out and some of them are very awesome indeed! I'm glad that Next Cab Soon reached at least top 2 in which I think the placement is okay because I love that level so much! Thank you NCS and RobTop for making this event possible :D

To say that this entire event is a dream come true is an UNDERSTATEMENT! To integrate over 1K songs from THE biggest non-copyright music AND host a contest which so many yields era-defining levels will truly make this the peak of GD history for me. My love for NCS & GD combined like this produces something so special that it simply just can't be replicated. Placing ber zer ker at #1 is a fucking warcrime, deserves top 15th place at best lmao. Seemed so undercompleted compared to all the other levels, no clue how it won. 🤷♂
Im absolutely amazed by the amount of dedication these players have, but i have to ask. Why metamorphosis, which arguably needs a rate beyond mythical is 11th? Where is Evanescence which is also mythical worthy, where is error, that is also better then some levels in top 20, where is hush where is cradles that seems to have one of the best gameplayt flows i had ever seen? I honestly feel that these ratings are either biased or rushed
Of course it’s biased, I’m pretty sure it’s just rob deciding. Gameplay floss is not that relevant compared to some of these levels. Also I have no clue how slasher got 6th some of the other top 10s should’ve been top 20 imo but it’s ok
Metamorphosis should have been place higher but some parts lacked detail compared to the rest. Evanescence should have been on the list but it is really muddy and feels unfinished. Some of the art is really basic compared to the rest. Error had some unique visuals but didnt bring much more than that. Hush had some wierd art and gameplay. 90% of the time cradles is just black and the gameplay is just cube? There is no flow. Thats like saying constant tripples is flow just because its in sync with the music. And every rating is always biased? No matter who made it. If you made it you would also be biased for example. Rob just has different opinions.
@Gasurbythat can't happen unless robtop updates the game to add a third gauntlet image. the gauntlet info is received from servers, but the gauntlet image must already be in the game. but there are only two ncs gauntlet images in the game files.
I'm happy, that the results are here this soon, but I'd rather wait two more weeks for the results that'd feel more fair and right. The ones we've got were just questionable at least. There were a lot of misplaced levels in my opinion, and some other amazing ones weren't even mentioned, which is kind of strange to me. This felt more like a lotery, than an actual contest to be honest :/ I'm also fine with Megacolabs getting less point on average due to the fact that they're "easier" to finish, but come on..

I think that besides all the amazing levels the came out of this contest, I love all the new music that I got introduced to. I wasn't a huge NCS listener before this but nearly every song from the top 10 is now on my liked. Just goes to show how truly expansive and awesome the geometry dash community it :)

#1 is something we thought we would never see in GD just 5 years ago. We've come so far.
Own Display being in 14th place instead of top 1-5 is insanity, it's almost Mythic worthy, the same quality and optimization as Rage Quit (33K obj) and the deco looks insanely clean
There is also gameplay that needs to be considered. I also don’t think the level is better than any of the top 10s . Not to be rude to the creator

The entries for this contest are absolutely incredible, from the movie-like transitions to realistic artworks to 3D effects they all left me amazed by how far GD has come from 7 years ago where I started playing it. GD def needs the 3rd or 4th gauntlet to store these masterpieces!

This gauntlet has the craziest entries I’ve ever seen in any gauntlet contest. It really pushed creators to explore and learn about 2.2, I think it really progressed the game faster. Good initiative rob.

Honestly pretty good selection BUT THERE WERE ROBBERIES! Stuff like “Own display” only 14th and “Metamorphosis” only 11th, that’s crazy I thought both would be top 5 or at least Metamorphosis. Still tho this would shape up 2 amazing gauntlets!
I feel like Own Display is where it’s at simply because of Rage Quit. Very similar levels, but OD is the best one imo.

It was quite fun participating! Although I rushed mine because of school reasons and only did 4 days of real work on it it's still cool seeing levels coming out and some of them are very awesome indeed! To say that this entire event is a dream come true is an UNDERSTATEMENT! To integrate over 1K songs from THE biggest non-copyright music AND host a contest which so many yields era-defining levels will truly make this the peak of GD history for me. My love for NCS & GD combined like this produces something so special that it simply just can't be replicated.

Im absolutely amazed by the amount of dedication these players have, but i have to ask. Why metamorphosis, which arguably needs a rate beyond mythical is 11th? Where is Evanescence which is also mythical worthy, where is error, that is also better then some levels in top 20, where is hush where is cradles that seems to have one of the best gameplayt flows i had ever seen? I honestly feel that these ratings are either biased or rushed
Of course it’s biased, I’m pretty sure it’s just rob deciding. Gameplay floss is not that relevant compared to some of these levels. Also I have no clue how slasher got 6th some of the other top 10s should’ve been top 20 imo but it’s ok

Metamorphosis should have been place higher but some parts lacked detail compared to the rest. Evanescence should have been on the list but it is really muddy and feels unfinished. Some of the art is really basic compared to the rest. Error had some unique visuals but didnt bring much more than that. Hush had some wierd art and gameplay. 90% of the time cradles is just black and the gameplay is just cube? There is no flow. Thats like saying constant tripples is flow just because its in sync with the music.
And every rating is always biased? No matter who made it. If you made it you would also be biased for example. Rob just has different opinions.
i love how you get a couple of beautiful pieces. really well crated maps that make you feel good. and then you get hit with BUSSIN

@Gasurbythat can't happen unless robtop updates the game to add a third gauntlet image. the gauntlet info is received from servers, but the gauntlet image must already be in the game. but there are only two ncs gauntlet images in the game files.

I'm happy, that the results are here this soon, but I'd rather wait two more weeks for the results that'd feel more fair and right. The ones we've got were just questionable at least. There were a lot of misplaced levels in my opinion, and some other amazing ones weren't even mentioned, which is kind of strange to me. This felt more like a lotery, than an actual contest to be honest :/
I'm also fine with Megacolabs getting less point on average due to the fact that they're "easier" to finish, but come on..
I think they were ranked as they released but yeah some very big misplacements

I personally found the level really fun, it flowed well once you got the level down and it was just really fun to learn. everyone here is just salty that their own favorite level didn't win, which is fair, but don't let that affect the multitude of other talented creators that won over them. for the love of god, have an open mind
