  • Greetings from the Frenchman's Bride! 👰
Clément, my fiancé came to the Philippines from France for the first time last March 25, 2022. We were together for three weeks and living with someone under the same roof, you can only notice and learn so many things about them- so here! I'm sharing with you 10 things I've learned about Clément; some funny, some weird, some related to the French culture but all interesting! Tell me what you think in the comments section! 😁
Discovering even the smallest things about him makes my heart so full and I want to keep doing it for the rest of my life. Je t'aime tellement, Clément! ❤️

Clément wishes to clarify one thing: He's not a big fan of halo halo but he doesn't dislike it! 😅

Majority of the stuff you mentioned here are the same to the Italians. Just like using only fork while eating, they seldom use spoon here; my husband also won’t EVER try balut lol; about the wine is also a big thing for them here; Italians also greet everyone even though they don’t know that person - thank you, sorry and excuse me are 3 important words for them; same also here in Italy that they don’t have any graduation ceremonies; I laughed about the letters because it’s also the same with my husband and for the fact that they don’t have some letters that we have in our alphabets just like J, K, W, X, Y then I guess that’s also a big factor that they pronounce some words differently; last thing, same also here in Italy, mens do pee in a sitting position in their houses, but when they’re using public toilets they do pee while standing.
It’s nice to know different cultures right? it makes us see the world differently.

Hi Jennel, thank you very much for sharing those similarities! I'm thrilled to know that you can relate to most of the things I've mentioned in this video; I also loved learning a bit about the Italians, thanks to your stories! I can only agree with you, it's nice learning about different cultures. Aside from the fact that it's interesting, it also helps us practice respect, communication, understanding and love- despite the differences. 😊
I've checked your channel and subscribed! Thank you once again for stopping by! 😊💕

Western people usually tend to sit while peeing because it gets messy when their standing. Like the splashes all around. You know what I mean. It's all for the purpose of cleanliness. ☺️

It must be one of the reasons, indeed! I wasn't aware of it at all so when I learned about it, I found it unusual and very interesting. 😅
Thank you for watching and sharing what you know! 😊

NOOOOO, please don’t let him try balut. I’m half🇺🇸 & half🇵🇭 but balut is something I don’t like to try or even look at it. They’re so many delicious Filipino food that he can try. New subs here. Don’t judge, just accept the way he is, plus he’s coming from a different country a lot of differences.

BTW, my husband🇺🇸also pee sitting down he’s a neurologist. He said ppl can empty their bladders better when sitting down to pee🫠
Accept & love your deferences it’s what makes a relationship grow.

Hi Isa, thank you very much for watching and subscribing! Clément will be so happy to read your comment and know that someone's finally siding with him about the fact that he never wants to try balut. Don't worry though, I tease him about it but I won't force him to do something he genuinely doesn't want to do. You're also very right, love accepts differences and that's what we always try to do. He's an amazing person and I love him for who he is. It's refreshing to hear your thoughts about this, thank you so much for sharing! Also, more love and strength to your couple! 😊💕

Hi Bella, it warms my heart to know that you're married to a French! Thank you for sharing about his love for sinigang and halo-halo, those are very good and very local; like very Filipino! Also, now that you've mentioned sisig, I must make Clément try this too! And chocnut, I personally like that so he's trying those as well. 😅
PS: Hats off to your husband for trying the famous BALUT! Not everyone is brave enough to. 😂
