Hi, thanks for commenting! That's what we initially know and believed in too, that the entire "fixer business" is illegal. However, at the Bureau of Immigration, everyone acts as if it's a normal thing; like it's completely accepted and legal. I don't know if it's correct to call them "fixers" or if there's a more appropriate term to call them but what a fixer does is what they do. Also, the reason I said it in the video that "it could be legal" is because when it happened to us, we actually told the employees behind the window about it and all they told us is "oh, it's because you allowed them to handle it for you." But we didn't really have a choice. They're clearly all in this together and that's what's so upsetting. 🙂 - Dan

@@danandclement yeah, i totally understand your point. Those working behind the windows would not care even if many are complaining (even Filipinos). Just dont get fooled by these kind of people next time.

@@danandclement 🤣🤣 nah 3 semaines m'ont suffit🤣🤣 j'ai été malade 2 semaines à cause de la clim😅 impossible de guérir... médicaments pas assez puissant😅 une fois retourné en France il m'a fallu 2 semaines de plus pour guérir 😅 en même temps... j'y étais aller en novembre 😅 Mais oui, les gens sont extra aux philippines. Encore plus lorsqu'ils voient un couple mixte d'un âge similaire. Ma fiancée c'est fait félicité par tout le monde, même les caissières des magasins 😅🤣 Et la belle famille, beh comme tu l'as dit ils sont super accueillant à la manière des familles "du nord" en France. Des coeurs gros comme ça. Et pour la conduite... punaise... ils ont voulu me faire conduire... j'ai dit non direct... 🤣 trop peur d'avoir un accident pour les raisons que tu connais 😅 à Cebu les mecs on le feu au cul en voitures... ou motos... ou tricycle 😅 Par contre ce qui ma "choqué" aussi c'est de voir à quel point ils respectent les biens des autres. Entre Cebu, Iloilo et Dapitan, j'ai vu plein de gros pick up ou van ultra brillant et sans la moindre égratignure, même si les caisses dorment dehors sur la voie publique. Et punaise... ceux qui remplissent les sacs de courses à la caisse.... pourquoi vous mettez toutes les bouteilles dans le même sac?!😭 bande de sadiques 😅🤣

Ah je vois ! Les Philippines ont quelques défauts mais c'est un incroyable pays, et on s'y sent bienvenue très vite et les gens sont incroyables. J'avais remarqué le detail sur les voitures impeccable aussi, et je m'étais même demandé comment c'était possible au vu du traffic qu'elles soient aussi nickel ! Maintenant que j'y pense, j'ai pas non plus vu de voiture accidentée, ce qui me paraît encore plus étrange 🤔😂

After all, we're two different people at the end of the day. But with proper and enough communication, we appreciate the differences and sometimes learn from them too! @@danandclement soooo agree with you. My husband and I are compatible at first, but differences started showing up when we lived together. I love him coz I learn from him about many things in life. We fight of course, but we kiss and make up after a few minutes. Unlike other couples who wouldnt talk with each other for days or weeks, we don't do that because it's so stressful and uncomfortable. Having hatred in your heart or holding a grudge can affect your physical health leading you to have headaches and increased gastric acid. that's why we forgive each other immedately. haha

The fact is, no one is judging here. You are right on one thing though, it's unfair to be judged like that. Truth is, love finds a way. We didn't intend on meeting eachother in the first place, we were just some people trying to kill time during the pandemic. We were just lucky to find eachother. As far as we're concrened, this relationship would have been the same if I was Filipino and she was French.

@@danandclement Thank you. 😁 I actually never went abroad and she is working near Manila as a maid so our plan would be to travel to Manila and meet and then take the plane to Puerto Princessa and locate there because honestly it's like spending everyday together even now actually because we are 24/7 dedicated online 🥰 like, it's not even about love or questioning anything, it's like we finally found eachother after such a soul searching so I guess looks and love are just a bonus! ❤️
