      Do not buy from frontline foam, people. Poor qc, poorer quality, transphobic owner, just not pleasant. There are better alternatives out there.

      Unlike you, I don't like flywheel blasters, not because of the accuracy, but because they are loud. Everyone likes what suits them, we prefer Gel Blaster. Nothing personal🙂

    It’s possible that the bcars are pulling off a lot of your fps, they knocked off 20-40 on average on my lower fps protean cages. Also, idk how many darts you shot through your blaster before chronoing, but flywheel blasters tend to gain a decent bit of fps after the wheels accumulate a fair bit of dart dust on them bc it adds grip to the wheels accumulate

    • @BradleyPhillipsYT
      @BradleyPhillipsYT  9 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@IkAAris521 that's true also, unlike a springer the dart doesn't accelerate through the BCAR. It only loses fps.

      3d print will deform and warp long before this happens.
      Going to look at how my worker can be retrofit with the same to integrate the BCAR and try to fit brushless motors.
      The injected shell can fix most of the shortcomings.

    The more surface area the flywheels can grab onto and the longer they are making contact with the surface area, the more energy is transferred to the darts. That's why the Bamboos are slower than the Sabres. Although, if the surface area between different darts are the same, the FPS drops as the darts get heavier. Bamboos are more suited for springers. The lesser surface area darts have an opposite effect of energy transfer from flywheels to springers. The lesser surface area darts have less friction going through a barrel and the sweet spot differs from different combos of plunger tube air volume, springs power rate, and barrel length to achieve the desired, or maximum, FPS. As far as the accuracy, it's best to know the FPS of the blaster one will be running for most games one plays and match it to the CAR(Centering Auto Rotating) barrel's degree of twist rate - whether it is a (P)rinted-, (B)earing-. (A)ir flow diffusing (and I only know of one in the hobby that I use by #FrantzFoamWorks, which are the printed and resin cast Accu-Saber - PACAR and RCACAR respectively)-, or (S)tring-CAR (the SCAR was used first in the hobby and the original String Centering Auto Rotating barrels). Unfortunately, the resin cast Accu-Saber option is no longer in production; but the PACAR has been updated to the Final Accu-Saber, which now has a collet and it's better than the old friction fit versions. Hope that helps and everyone had a wonderful holiday season and have a Blessed New Year. Stay safe and God Bless. Yosh...

      What do you think of the Rippcar? Telescoping rifling segments which supposedly works with a variety of different velocities.

    • @ArTchN_Ei8ht_Industries
      @ArTchN_Ei8ht_Industries 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@BradleyPhillipsYT The only modular SCAR I own is the MS-SCAR (Modular Stackable SCAR by #ACFoamWorks229). It's actually a hybrid between a PCAR and a SCAR barrel, where the barrel's housing is printed to achieve the stackable feature of the SCAR and fishing line is used to center and auto-rotate the darts in a six-string pattern. The higher the FPS, the more segments one has to connect together to get the optimum accuracy for one's desired FPS. The drawback is one's blaster's length can become unwieldable when FPS climb above 400. I've only needed one segment as the games I've participated in and blasters I've used are limited to 200FPS and below -all springers. I've never used any CAR barrels on any of my Flywheelers. Unfortunately, ACFoamWorks's Etsy page have gone on vacation indefinitely, but you're still able to contact him through his Etsy store. I'm not familiar with the RipPCAR. Have you done a review on it? I've watched so many of your content that it's becoming hard to remember them all. :D I'll have to rewatch it if you have; and if you haven't done a review on it, I can't wait what your thoughts will be on it. Stay safe and God Bless. Yosh...

    These definitely are an answer for some. I know a guy that loves springers, but he also has tendinitis and always runs his favorite custom built springer cause he easily detune it for the occasion that it flares up. He's been using AEGs.

    Flywheelers are definitely better suited to HVZ and lower-fps battles in terms of dart wear. I don’t know how common those types of wars are in Australia but around 160-180 fps seems to be the limit of what worker darts can repeatedly take in my experience.

    The taper head Dartzone Ruby darts tend to hit the highest FPS in these extreme High Crush setups. Your 110% on the money about bamboo hurting performance.
    Dart damage will most likely be from the wheels not the BCAR ( Test a few shots without a BCAR to verify) but it could be an edge of the printed dart guide between or at exit of the wheels scratching the darts. A high wheel could be diverting darts off the center line into the guide. But usually its foam forced into the 0.5mm gap that gets shredded.

    nice, seems like frontline had something wonky about the bcar tolerance, for everyone else, it is rock solid in there, also interesting thing to note, gryphon and protean are both from the same guy, but if you pull a gryphon's trigger and a protean's trigger, the protean will feel snappier and more crisp, this is because of the gear ratio used, believe it is like 4-1 or something like that

    Flywheels are dead ever since we have thing like colonel wasp 77. It's cheaper than this loud crap, WAY better quality than 3d printed (carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate shell)
    Way more accurate and powerful.
