It's not that they aren't polished... They are very practiced and "polished". I think it's the fact that they are using progressions and melody's that the christian world stereotypically doesn't use, that you aren't used too... This is what makes them unique and gives me hope in this dried up, dead genre... This is why I love Gungor so much!
simply awesome, i have been listening to as much Gungor as possible. My son was in a serious biking accident yesterday he's only 12 years of age , completely broke 2 bones in his left arm. Gungor has been playing on the iphone at his side all night. This music is so soothing . THANKS GUNGOR! see you at the EL REY
"Dry Bones" my soul cries out my soul cries out for you these bones cry out these dry bones cry for you to live and move only You can raise the dead lift my head up Jesus, You’re the one who saves us Constantly creates us into something new Jesus You’re the one who finds us Surely our Messiah will make all things new
My GOD, my GOD! That was one of THE Sickest (in a good way) displays of talent I've witnessed in a LONG time! That cello dude was freaking AMAZING! Good job guys! Later...
"I tell you the truth whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed over from death to life. I tell you the truth a time is coming and has come when the dead will hear the voice of the son of god and those who hear will live."
I just accidentally opened this in two tabs and they played about ten seconds apart... it was heavenly and unbelievably trippy... but oh my, was it good
I think every "Christian" artist needs to watch this video. They need to see that there is so much more beyond the contemporary Christian music scene. This song is the kind of beauty God deserves.
4:16 "When he came up on this young man sawin' on a fiddle 'n' playin' it hot - And the Devil jumped up on a hick'ry stump 'n' said, 'boy lemme tell'ya what'"
My soul cries out My soul cries out for You These bones cry out These dry bones cry for You To live and move Only You Can raise the dead Lift my head up Jesus, You're the one who saves us Constantly creates us into something new Jesus surely you will find us Surely our Messiah will make all things new Will make all things new Life is breaking out Is breaking out Life is breaking out Is breaking out Is breaking out
Been having a difficult time for a few days and this song just popped in my head. The beginning is where I'm at. The end is where I hope to be... life is breaking out. Amazing song!
I was the same way man. Ill never forget the first day I felt the presence of God. Its a presence that goes deep within your soul and speaks to you. Almost brings me to tears just talking about it... Jesus is the Messiah !
Being a worship leader for 20 years. Then Watching Gungor and a few other Dangerous lovers of Christ change music like this.Well what can I say, when i listen to the top 10 in iTunes I just can't take those songs seriously again. I am wearing a new set of glasses and simply can't play that stuff any more. Today I give thanks to the men and woman like this that don't take there bag of tricks from the world. I love Gungors "white man" and I can't play it for my Congregation. I have much work to do
The amount of talent that oozes out of these fine musicians is awesome. This song gets me every time. Amazing. "Jesus, you're the one who saves us." amen.
the beauty in worship music is in the lyrics it's awesome how worship can come in many forms and genres, and i think that's more for our benefit rather than for God's. i prefer this kind of genre over contemporary Christian music, but really they're all beautiful just the same. you might even say that the fact that there are many different kinds of worship is awesome because we are all called to worship God no matter how we do it
I just love it! So hipster and so Christian at the same time =) Also, i love the lyrics message: God can turn any dry bones into live, God is magnificent and almighty!! (and yes, the cello guy is from Pentatonix, deal with it!)
@MrsNerdHerd Oh ok! I belive it! He's one of the most impressive musicians I've seen. I adore listening to the cello, and I love beatboxing, so the two combined was amazing to watch, and he's fantastic at both!
This is just amazing... Refreshing to hear some worship that isnt polished for once. It inspires me. Lovely! This is revevant for the stage of worship!
AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM! THEY ARE SOOO TALENTED!!!! ITS AMAZING! I LOVE THE ALL THE BACKGROUND MUSIC AND EVERYTHING! ESPECIALLY THE CELLO! :D
Okay, enough talk about Kevin Olusola. He's good, but frankly the beat boxing can't replace the percussion on this song (though it does work well in other songs). This song is heavy enough to really warrant some drums. It feels too much like a rap song with the beat boxing, though it's impressive. His cello playing is dope though.
i can see how you're trying to be different in the "christian music scene" (add beat box + rocky horror show anthem), but it's just not enough to be 'different' bro. lyrics and arrangement too cheesy (i see the theme you were going for). I think that if you had a full band and stronger lyrics, you might've been able to pull this off.
@MrsNerdHerd Your brother?????? WOW! Are you serious? He's got such a fantastic voice too!!!! I heard him do a harmony in "You Are the Beauty". Very gifted & blessed! I was blown away by this!
I watched this and was like "I'm done. You can't get better music than this. You can't get better musicians. I am done." I mean...the celloist beatboxing? holy moley.
@marybouwman sorry no my brother was telling me that the cellist competed in a cello competion and got second... i wish he was my brother though! he is a beast!
These three are.......... 😱 wow!!! Amazing!!! God knew what He was doing to trust them with their calling in Jesus!!! 💓💙💖🙏💖💙💓 love, love, love it!!! 💘 my sister in Christ just introduced me this song today while we were working to prepare for our church's block 🎉 party... She kept singing it, and saying it was stuck in her head and soul... NOW I KNOW WHY!!! 4 yrs ago... And I'm just hearing of it? i wonder why it's not played on the Christian radio stations i listen to? I'll have to call and request it... Of course i will!!! Aaaaaaahhh;mazing!!! 💙👍💜👍💙
2019 Nothing is more frustating than to hear great music artists but failing to cover them simply because you still have to set aside a LOT OF TIME just to personally figure out OR search available chords & lyrics for the songs. Why can't artists provide an official lyric AND chord book (yes even just the basic chords) attached to their album/single or sold separately? Why? This could help a lot of musicians who are passionate in learning the songs. What a sad & selfish world this is.
Yes, He has already, indeed. Praise the Lord! I could be wrong, but I think the lyric is referring to the ongoing occurrence. He has made all things new, (past tense), He DOES make all things new (present tense), and will continue to do so (future tense) - every time somebody or something needs renewed, restored, rejuvenated, regenerated. Perhaps my list is a little redundant. I just love all of those words.
Exactly bro it's fresh and different. Finally.
"Christian" is not a genre:) Thank goodness, haha!
Siah Airsoft you have to admit they are a little weird but in a good way
you obviously need more variety. Rivers and robots is pretty unique too and then all the other stuff like Isla Vista Worship
Omg!! Just realized that the cello player is the pentatonix member!!
Ohhh.. 📝✨🙌🏾
I still come back and jam to this song like it's my first time. Timeless.
simply awesome, i have been listening to as much Gungor as possible. My son was in a serious biking accident yesterday he's only 12 years of age , completely broke 2 bones in his left arm. "Dry Bones"
my soul cries out
my soul cries out for you

The only person who I know that can beatbox and play the cello at the same time is Kevin Olusola. Is that him?
yeees he's christian :))
Lol 6 years later I said the same thing
🙌🏾🔥📝
My GOD, my GOD! That was one of THE Sickest (in a good way) displays of talent I've witnessed in a LONG time! That cello dude was freaking AMAZING! Good job guys! Later...
KorieG this guys are geniuses
beat boxer and cellist? ahhhh!!!! love
She's using an Indian Harmonium.. That too in those scales.. Its so awesome...
Dude, its Kevin Olusola! The same guy in the cello beatbox video he made at Yale, the same guy that's in the a capella group "Pentatonix"!
Dang! That ending! my mind just exploded 💥😱😖😵💥💨 lol praise God! 😃
ABSURDAMENTE INCRÍVEL!
Is NO ONE going to mention the fact that that fella can ROCK that top-hat?
"I tell you the truth whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed over from death to life. I tell you the truth a time is coming and has come when the dead will hear the voice of the son of god and those who hear will live."
I just accidentally opened this in two tabs and they played about ten seconds apart... it was heavenly and unbelievably trippy... but oh my, was it good
🤣💣
Totally blown away with this song. Our dance group is going to do a piece to it in August. Fantastic depth and texture.
It's nice when artists let the creativity flow (and labels allow them to let it flow). There should be more of this...
✨🙌🏾✨
I think every "Christian" artist needs to watch this video. They need to see that there is so much more beyond the contemporary Christian music scene.
This song is the kind of beauty God deserves.
Hillsong United needs this
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Is that Kevin from ptx???
yeees he's christian :)
This is Musical genius
4:16 "When he came up on this young man sawin' on a fiddle 'n' playin' it hot - And the Devil jumped up on a hick'ry stump 'n' said, 'boy lemme tell'ya what'"
It comes from Ezekiel 37:1-14 about the dry bones that Ezekiel prophesies to. Really interesting part of scripture.
I was just listening to this without watching the video, then I was struck with a strange feeling that PTX somehow morphed with Gungor... :)
My soul cries out
My soul cries out for You
These bones cry out
These dry bones cry for You
To live and move
Only You
Can raise the dead
Lift my head up
Jesus, You're the one who saves us
Constantly creates us into something new
Jesus surely you will find us
Surely our Messiah will make all things new
Will make all things new
Life is breaking out
Is breaking out
Life is breaking out
Is breaking out

Been having a difficult time for a few days and this song just popped in my head. The beginning is where I'm at. The end is where I hope to be... life is breaking out. Amazing song!
What....I can't even breathe after viewing that...
I was the same way man. Ill never forget the first day I felt the presence of God. Its a presence that goes deep within your soul and speaks to you. Almost brings me to tears just talking about it... Jesus is the Messiah !
Que musica linda , super amei , mais uma inscrita.Toca a alma com esta combinação de violoncelo ,as vozes , batida , super brilhante.

I honestly think this is one of the best songs I've heard in my entire life, and I'm one of those pretentious music people.
The only dude who can pull off a top hat in 2013
For real
Wow, such a beautiful song. The melody, the lyrics, instrumental, wonderful at all.
God bless!
The amount of talent that oozes out of these fine musicians is awesome. This song gets me every time. Amazing. "Jesus, you're the one who saves us." amen.
Sad that Michael and Lisa Gungor arent Christian anymore :(
Wow, I mean this really picks up some steam.
Fabulous
the beauty in worship music is in the lyrics

Is the guy with the cello and the beatboxes the same of Pentatonix?
Yes it is!
Yes
as soon as i heard the beat boxing i was like O.O wow
Everything about this song! Yes and Amen thank you Lord for creativity:)
I just love it! So hipster and so Christian at the same time =) Also, i love the lyrics message: God can turn any dry bones into live, God is magnificent and almighty!!
(and yes, the cello guy is from Pentatonix, deal with it!)
I think the one thing killing the church is ‘polished’.
KEVIN FROM PTX!!!
Gungor says he doesn’t believe in God.
I hope he finds God like I hope for all men.
Is that the guy from pentatonix?
Yes!
Sweet Baby Moses, I had no idea!
Woooww...what? What? What? Awesome!
Mr Osula crackin it again!! And the guitarist is on point too!
@MrsNerdHerd Oh ok! I belive it! He's one of the most impressive musicians I've seen. I adore listening to the cello, and I love beatboxing, so the two combined was amazing to watch, and he's fantastic at both!

Please put this version on Spotify! I NEED IT!
Honestly, was just thinking this version needs to be available to stream.. 💥🔥💥
wow ! emocionante y sanador ...Grax a Dios por estos chicos
Praise God. Used to be a stoner too, Jesus rescued me!

Kevin!
Cellist. Just...I'm in awe. So amazing. Gungor always finds a way to increase their awesomeness.

I really wanna know what instrument she's playing.. Anybody?
@MrsNerdHerd Your brother?????? WOW! Are you serious? He's got such a fantastic voice too!!!! I heard him do a harmony in "You Are the Beauty". Very gifted & blessed! I was blown away by this!
I watched this and was like "I'm done. You can't get better music than this. You can't get better musicians. I am done." I mean...the celloist beatboxing? holy moley.
First black guy I have ever seen play the Cello.. and he is absolutely incredibly talented. Very cool haha
@marybouwman sorry no my brother was telling me that the cellist competed in a cello competion and got second... i wish he was my brother though! he is a beast!
This is phenomenal.
Really bums me out the the guy from Gungor doesn't believe anymore.
any chances of a EP of the songs you guys did live at relevant? I would love to buy this version of the song and the other ones you did for relevant.
4:46 HO-LY NOTES, BATMAN! Mike and Kevin KILL IT there!
Animalllllll...os caras são demais!
Lead singer looks like Patrick Mahomes. Chick is hot.
You'll usually see a ton of dislikes on all christian videos.
Even the haters had to give this props. 1,091 Likes and 7 Dislikes.
beauty in worship music in lyrics? ...
So dancing has limited beauty? and instrumental music is spiritually castrated?
o_O
wow...i want to jump out of my skin now.i don't even wana say what I think, lest I box the magnitude of what is captured here
These three are.......... 😱 wow!!! Amazing!!! wow! like how creative is this?!... awesome...
More than impressive...
This has a dark vibe to it but I love it! GOD IS GOOD!
Pump Organ I believe. Could not tell ya the brand or name or anything. But I'm pretty sure it's a mini pump organ.
The music brings out the desperation of the cry out to God. Lifeless bones we are unless life is breathed into us.
Also if you could show me some more christian bands that sound like this I would like to hear them. Thanks.
@marybouwman my brother said he competed in a cello competion, and got second, only to be defeated by Yo-Yo Ma
This version is better than the CD version... along with alot of these other RELEVANT live performances.
HOLY HEAVEN! This is amazing. Gugnor took this song to a new level!
What is that instrument Lisa's playing?! I need it!
is that the guy of Pentatonix?
+Sanel Vella (SanelVellaS) Yes, LOL
ha! I thought so
2019

entonces el muchacho de pentatonix es cristiano?
I think the notes for the outro are Gm D#/G Octave notes of G and C#, and D7. Forgive me if I'm wrong ;p Thank You Jesus for such raw talent!!!
buenos músicos Gracias a Dios por estos excelentes músicos Dios los siga bendiciendo y les de cada día mas. mis favoritos GUNGOR
"Surely our Messiah will make all things new" - he did already. (Check Old Testament)

skembow lol...
i was wondering why it sounded so ugly... then i realized it was playing in my fb tab too! haha
stronger lyrics? Jesus your the one who saves us...... doesnt get any more powerful then that.
1:38 BREAK IT DOWN BROTHA.
Well repetitive praise music, is not for speaking to us my friend. It's for praising God! :)
c'est excellent que les gens utilisent leur talent pour glorifier Dieu.
Amazing!! Love the instruments, lyrics and harmony.
What's is the name of this keyboard?
at least it's better then the simple cliche stuff unlike all the other church's...
Nothing like selling the gifts God gives you. A tidy profit from the Lord. Acts 8:20
