Nottingham Uni is my local university and I wouldn’t say it’s ‘all about the nightlife’ I would say that it’s got one of the biggest selection of clubs and late night bars but there is a lot more that just that. I will obviously have a biased opinion though. Good video

I did my Masters in LSE. A great Uni but too much competition & you’re more often than not left on your own to figure things out. I hope they’ve changed now cos I finished almost 20 years ago (dark ages…awww…😂).

It is great and very informative video especially for an aspiring graduate university student and looking for objective comparison. Honestly UK is my most preferable choices of country I want to come to pursue my graduate study. However, since the C19 cases are worsening, I consider having US as my alternative. Do you think UK has a better prospect in C19 handling especially in universities and academic environment?

Thanks Mohammad, means a lot! Yeah there is, but if I'm honest, it doesn't affect anything substantively. You'll just hear it in a few convos. Who cares? I know politics/history/sociology students landing jobs at Goldman Sachs/JP Morgan whilst Econ students struggle. There's more to life than your degree title, trust me.

I’m pretty sure imperial college are more diverse than ucl especially these past 10-20 years. They’ve had a higher percentage of international students these past years
UCL is exponentially larger though, so there are going to be many more international individuals at UCL with a 50:50 ratio, even if Imperial had a 40:60.

This year im starting eco and philosophy at the uni of Bristol. What are your thoughts on Bristol, im just worried its not as good as a uni as LSE, ucl, etc...
My experience with Bristol uni is that they gave me an unconditional offer without even asking me for an art portfolio, whereas every other uni asked me for one, I was discouraged by their low entry requirements

I am an IT Management professional contemplating an MS from UK this September that can then be followed by a possibly relevant career.
I am focusing London since it is the tech hub of the UK. I have shortlisted the below four universities/courses with budget being the major consideration here. Can you please comment on these choices in terms of university repute in tech market?

10:28 wdym by UCL is right in the middle and LSE and ICL are on their sides is this in terms of specialisms but doesn't both LSE and ICL are specialised unis?
I rewatched the video yesterday and realised that my statement was so vague, it could've meant left/right politically LOOL! What I meant was in terms of degree specialism. The left/right spectrum was just to convey the differences in terms of degree offerings. Imperial is on 1 side, LSE is on the complete opposite side, and UCL is in the middle (offering both STEM and Humanities). Does that make sense?

Quite honestly, Warwick is as prestigious as UCL and LSE and is more prestigious than Durham, St Andrews and such.

It’s a very good postgraduate uni for subjects to do with business and finance. One of the best business schools in the world I think.

I'm very confused why isn't university of Leeds being talked about when it comes to best UK universities it is always looked down upon even though the university ranking is very good. Can anyone explain? It's higher than Nottingham university

in this specific video he is drawing on people he knows experiences, he may not know people at leeds.
League tables really don't matter all that much, change every year, and there's shit unis that get ranked than some great ones. Leeds and Nottingham are pretty similar, but I'd still put Nottingham as a better university, in terms of prestige, than Leeds is.
A top top top uni isn't worth the extra stress and hassle (academic and social elitism) unless you are really set on what you want out of your degree 👌

Good craic. It is a great university and for some subjects this definitely is the case. Good atmosphere compared to other UK universities because it’s in Belfast.
