Very open of you sharing your dads story. I know how you feel. Aye your Alison is a star. She must be getting recognised at her work nowadays? Keep the videos coming.
I often wonder what he would think of what I am doing now. We worked together in the print industry and my life and work is now very different. Thanks for watching.
@@NowtDaftTonyFawcett Same here, I a bit older than you and lost my dad when I was 20, he cycled so got me into it but never had the adult relationship with him where I think we would have ridden together. Like you I did a big career change, I like to think he would have approved because he installed in me the most important thing was doesn't matter what work you do as long as you are happy doing it! Thanks for the insight and all the great content.
just watching with me cuppa before i go to work 👍nice story about ya dad & how nowt daft came about.seen Geoff on Saturday when i was out🚴.please keep of them toilet blocks😂
Love the videos. The NE is SO good for gravel on the lines. Just went up to Durham and cycled to and from my sisters on the Deerness Valley line. Didn't get much time to see many other bits as I was painting the whole time but excited to come up again soon!
Tony, how do you know what the purple toilet blocks taste like? Nice ride down the line to Durham from Consett, little bit harder coming back the other way though
A heartfelt nod to your dad in this nowt daft episode, nice one Tony ( and Bri) 👏

Rode past that very field today and it was in fine fettle. Very nice place to be in the early evening sun.
It is a good spot. As a kid I used to laugh at when my dad said such things only now do I appreciate what he meant.

Sorry about your dad. You're still pretty young to lose your father. Crazy life this is. ❤
I will talk about him more at some point. So many stories. He would have been a great addition to my videos.

😂🤣😂I am not sure. I don’t think I have first hand experience of the taste.
What breed of dog is Buddy, I've got a couple of Border Terriers and he looks similar apart from the colour?
He is a Lakeland Terrier.
Thought you quit drinking. Hope you're okay, man.
I have started having a few again in social settings. Never will I drink solo in the house.
Nowt daft
Always!😂🤣
Reckon your dad would be well chuffed how your cycling turned out.
I think he would be. He loved being around the racing.
