Ticktick is my favorite productivity tool, mainly because of its "Arrange Task" feature which enables you to switch from a vertical list layout to a horizontal calendar view. I find this amazing to help structure my week, because I can first write everything I have to do without worrying about due dates, and then I can simply drag and drop the items into the calendar. This is also an amazing feature to reschedule overdue tasks, and you can also easily convert tasks to event.

Thanks so much for watching, hope you have a great day!
This is exactly what I was thinking! I went through the same thought process. I need to plot my to-do tasks into a calendar or I’m just making a list without remembering what I’ve got planned that day!
and even if google tasks and calendar does this same thing, it does it so poorly. u can only access them on their own app (on mobile)
Thank you so much!
Yes, this was the feature I was looking for and was super relieved to find that it exists!
Wow 🤯! Thus video just made my Sunday Scaries disappear! Thank you!
great video mate!
If I'm not wrong, Cal Newport, in his book how to be a straight a student, has mentioned creating a planner like this
ps: i love how you're excited throughout the entire video
Hey there! Thanks a lot for your kind words about my content, it means a lot! Newport does indeed mention creating a planner to help manage your time in his works, however I don't think he specifically mentions the tool Ticktick. I think the Arrange Tasks functionality really gives the tool 10x more power! Again, thanks a lot and have a great day!
good video, only issue i had with the content is volume. you could do smthing like normalizing the audio, especially music so it doesn't annoy ppl who listen with headphones.
keep up the good work, ticktick content is quite rare so i really appreciate this 👍
you do not need to set the due date in the past to appear in the arrange tasks. When clicking arrange tasks, there is a filter icon that you can click. It'll give you options to show tasks past due or with no date. Just select no date and it'll display tasks with no date.
great!!!
Can you tell me if you can two way synch g-calendar or outlook with ticktick?
Liked the idea of creating "things to do" list
Hey there Nilesh! Thanks for your comment, and I'm glad you found some value in my content! Hope you have a great day!
@@josephmavericks what's the difference between your things to do list and the inbox? Isn't it just the same?
Do you have to pay for the monthly view now? I only see it as a upgrade
Righteous! This is hottie material!!!
is this also available in the android free app?
Yes 🙂
You can do this in amplenote... For free. It's build in.
this is nothing compared to skedpal
The main issue I’ve run into is using a third party application to allows people to schedule a meeting with you that only syncs to popular calendars like Google, Outlook, iCal, etc.
Whenever I block out time in TickTick, I need that time to be blocked out on Google Calendar so no one can book me during that time.
Inversely, when someone books time with me, I need to see that in TickTick so I don’t schedule tasks during that time and can plan accordingly around it.
Unfortunately, TickTick doesn’t have a bidirectional sync with Google Calendar that reliably works. If they ever fix this…it would solve so many issues.
Hey Skyler, thanks a lot for your comment! For me the big advantage of Ticktick is that it removes this sync issue by providing a fully standalone solution that includes both checklists and calendar, but if you need Google calendar on the daily that obviously doesn't solve the issue. Then you definitely need to wait for them to offer that type of sync, who knows maybe they will come out with the feature one day! Thanks again for your insightful comment, and have a great rest of your day!
