Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf TH-cam channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

Not sure how I found this video/channel, but the fact that you and your wife play together is so awesome. I'm currently teaching my wife how to play in the hopes we can go out on weekends, and kiddos are in a golf camp. I still play with 20 year old Taylormade Steel series irons, lol. Look forward to more vids!
Thanks John and Ashley for inspiring me to do what you guys do. I started doing it about a month ago. I watched every video on the channel and finished a few days back. I started to sell the clubs ive found and made $1000 in 2 days doing it. Hopefully I make it to Florida some time to join you on a golf hunting adventure! Keep it up!

I have a friend that collected Scotty putters back in the 90’s and early 2000’s. His parents would buy him one anytime there was a release from Scotty’s shop. I got in so much trouble over there once because I touched the teryllium on one of his putters and “ruined” it. His collection is prob worth 6 figures now, maybe a little less because of my thumb print 😂
definitely not ruined. I play with one that I refinished to make the teryllium a mirror and after every 2-3 rounds I polish and putter butter it to keep it fresh.

New sub here. I remember a junior having one of these putters back in the 90's and it cost about £125-150 and he was sat there in the clubhouse with a little bottle of oil applying it to the face. It made me chuckle back then but wow the prices on Ebay are through the roof. Nice find u2 and love the channel here in God's country and also the home of Golf.

Recently got a Newport like this for $5! Spent $47 to get correct head cover, the art of putting. The putter was in mint condition even with no head cover, it was in a beat up bag with some junk irons and laminate woods.

Hi John & Ashley I watch your videos as much as I can, I’m in the UK and I’ve played golf for over 40 years. I love Florida been there 6 or 7 times now and also visited the flea markets. Hoping to come again in 2027. I am lucky to play at Woburn Golf Club but since my hip needs surgery I’ve not played for about 3-4 years. Keep up the great videos would love the chance to meet you guys if that was ever possible. Ashley you are the worlds greatest putter ❤

Had to laugh at how John, who usually just goes up and whacks his putts (albeit still well) took SUCH care on his first effort with the Scotty….marking it, lining it up….a 4 footer, no less. I’m pretty sure I saw his knees knocking. Good job!

I found a Beckley Ralston Walloper today for 10 bucks. It's the strangest looking aluminum driving iron/hybrid from the 30's - can't wait to try it!.
Great video I always say buy some thing that you like this way you don’t regret not making the deal. You should ask the guy what garage sells goes to. I think I need to move to Florida to find those kind of deals.

Ti3's are a minimum of $200 to restore...several years ago it was $150. I purchased a left handed newport terryllium at a play it again sports in 2012 for $60 as someone brought it in to see how much they would give them for that and a vokey wedge and the guy at the counter said $30....he purchased the clubs and i asked "how much for the putter"? He said give me $60....repolished the head myself and added fresh white dots and sold the putter for $400 a couple days later. Its still the only teryllium i have found used. I did find a set of 99 hogan apex blades for $260 back in 2001 that were brand new and I used them for a couple months before selling them for $200.....sadly i didnt know what they were worth and now they are sitting on my friends mantle being displayed. Those were some sweet hitting irons.

When you see PING ISI irons look for gold paint fill because they are BeNi applies to putters also! I need a 7 and 8 iron in BeNi.
Holy cow that Del Mar Scotty Cameron is the exact same putter that my dad has! He had no idea how much it's worth until I saw it and told him.

Not to make you jealous but I found ( while cleaning ) an old SC Newport Tei putter in my golf stuff. I’m thinking of getting it restored.
I never liked the dead feel of the Scotty Cameron Newport teryllium, loved the look of that putter though, and when I tried it I made every 10 footer, but the feel was not for me.
I had bought way back when they came out in 99 a Newport 2 Teryllium. I just sold it unrestored on ebay for $300 with a headcover. I had a second headcover and got $50 for that. They go for around $1k restored. I used that bad boy religiously for 22 years. My putting sucked so it had to go. I didn't want to wait for restoration as the back log was 6 months I think when I looked.
We finally see you buy a Cleveland driver! (the Hibore XLS) but no Ebay comps or shots with it. :)

Nice to see you go from reseller mode to collector mode. Yes, it doesn’t always have to be about the money to a point. Also, it kills me to see you come across the same clubs that are in my bag and get no love, haha! :52 r11 driver, front and center, in my bag and no mention it’s there, 😭. Then my putter for 20 yrs, the Oddesey Rossie II, balata insert, 15$, ouch, sets it back down.

John and Ash, I almost died when I saw that white and green baseball bat at that wide brim hat seller. At first it looked liked a 2017 Demarini CF Zen. I know you’re not into bats but if you ever stumble across that 2017 Demarini CF Zen… buy it!!! It is the holy grail of bats. Same colorway as that Easton. Another one to be on the lookout for is the 2018 Rawlings Quatro aptly named the “Glow Stick” because it looks like highlighter marker. Neon yellow with light blue graphics. Happy hunting! That's not really a good way to negotiate. The seller was a good example. He knew how much they wanted it and they weren't going away so he let them do his job for him.

I had that same putter given to me by a customer. He bought the house and the attic was full of stuff I had to move the golf clubs to get where I needed and he said I could have them all.
