I was told by my old business partner who had been in the resale business since the 80's that "if it is a good deal, never haggle, they might change their mind." He then told me of this time he found 4 antique silver pocket watches at a yardsale, in a display case, for $75 and tried to haggle the seller to $50. She changed her mind about selling them, saying they were her late husbands and she was going to keep them after all. He looked up a couple later and they were worth thousands.
Good to see retro video games are still being found at yard sales, occasionally. I gave up years ago hunting games but great to see deals still do exist 🔥🔥🔥
Niiiice. I miss the days when games could just sit out on a table like that. These days, the only time you see that late in the day means one of three things: it's priced at or above market price, it's at a sale waaaay out of the way or the seller just brought it out.
Your playing in the background while I list items on eBay. When the woman said $2 for all that vision wear I want to jump through the television and buy it myself. Awesome pick up we sell vision wear very well. Doesn’t last more than 30 days.
That was definitely the most amazing yard sales I have ever seen. Some prices were a bit high, but all in all your return will be worth it. Have a great Sunday ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Wow! The ladies at the yard sale with a shed loads of retro games are gems! All that stuff should have been way higher but it looks like they like making people days and providing memories, god bless them :)
OMG.... me and my wife were laughing hysterically at the poor old lady selling the Sharp TV/VHS: "Are you interested in buying (*this very heavy) TV with VHS (*that I had to carry all the way out)? "It's nice but probably not" "OH DARN!!! We rewound that three or four times. That was gold. Very nice of you to buy it and save her the grief of having to carry it back in that she say dreaded. We are still laughing hours after seeing it.
Finding 90s video games gameboy and super nintendo is so awesome to watch and is really nostalgic to me Dustin!I mentioned it before many time in your other videos that i love anyything has to do with the 90's!From super nintendo and game boy to Christmas figures and ornaments! So happy you sold for 200 bucks this rare game boy game which i didnt knew untill now.Big time score and keep up the hunt for anything retro nostalgic vintage 90s stuff!
You found a lot of great things. I’m surprised by the lack of traffic at most of houses. Where I live there would be 10 people at each house and the video games would have been long gone. Keep it going.
My best ever yardsale purchase was at an overpriced perpetual yard sale. I bought 2 games for like $30. Everything else was too expensive to profit. I can't remember what the one I sold right away was, but it paid for both purchases. I felt like the other as kind of under valued, so put it aside and forgot about it. About 5 years later while cleaning I came across it again, and price checked it. I sold that factory sealed big box Age of Empires for $750. I think when I picked it up, it was going for like $40, and I felt that was a bit low for a sealed classic in it's original big box release. Turns out, the market agreed with me.
That's awesome. I'm a big age of empires fan. I still play aoe 2 once every week or two with a friend. I also love finding big box games in the wild. Nice flip!
You and Jess work hard . I'm happy to see you finding some treasures. Before we moved, I sold quite a bit of stuff on Facebook. I know it was worth more than I sold it for, and I know some people were buying to resell. I was fine with that. I needed to get rid of it It was just too much to pack everything , and I don't regret it. People price items for what they want to get out of it. I recently picked up a Hummel ox at the bins. It was left over from a garage sale. They had priced it at $1 and it didn't sell. I think it's worth about $50.
@@propicker i think because the tech changed from RF Radio Frequncy to bluetooth... not sure but no wireless 360 controllers, guitars or regular controllers require a dongle
I just sold one of the small tv vhs combo player. I pain to ship but great turnaround time. Was a great $10 buy. I had box and all original accessories. For $5 with remote was a great deal. 🏆
I have all PlayStation and Nintendo im a game collection so yeah I’m missing a sega and the games too well I have the games and some are rare games witch is crazy to me
Yea, and I don't know why he doesn't show her how to look up comps on ebay. The bats were bad pickups too. Pay $5 for something that maybe will sell for $25 with free shipping, and the item is oversized😂
I don't know of I have specific video on shipping. Some of our later videos on the Pro Flipper Channel include Jessica shipping a few things. I can't remember exactly which ones and it would towards the end of them.
We use either a 6x6x48 or a 4x4x36 box for clubs and for the bag a 12x12x36 and all of those go out via UPS ground. We have some of the boxes and other shipping supplies in our Amazon affiliate store link in the video description.
he wont find games like that again he got lucky he was in the right place at the right time, the last time i bought games at a yard sale or goodwill worth real good money was prolly like 6 or 7 years ago

Sounds like a messed up deal. That fence that separated vendors was a bummer. Maybe the should have put the food vendors there and all there vendors up front.

Hello from a follower in Finland! I have often wondered why those who sell things usually write down what they sell in a booklet? Is it for their own account or do you have to pay tax on the things?
If u find a Zelda game its worthy big bucks😊 Just let u know another picker a game system up snd games she didnt know it was a big price game Someone else got it 😢Oh if you see this fossile purse there saleing for 69 to 100 bucks just let u know😊Happy huntiing
It's nice not having to fight anyone else over those video games!!
Yep 😂act like spoiled kids grown men pushing and shoving
So amazing how some folks haggle for ever penny and others seem so blessed when you say don’t worry about the quarter.

You made that lady so happy that you bought her Sharp tv. Great video with golf clubs and video games.

I love seeing all the old games I grew up playing. Thanks for sharing this, it's nostalgic.
You should have asked what they wanted for all the video games. 9/10 you will get them cheaper than buying only a few.
Cool find with all those games.. Thanks for sharing..
Look at the wife taking control around 4:20, you taught her well lol.
i love how serious the air got when you saw the video games :D
That vintage towel took me right back to my childhood on the Gold Coast Australia. On billboards everywhere.

Let’s Go 69.5k Subs! Guitar Hero and Rock Band retro video game party will be expected for 75ksubs
Sending "ily" to wife because you bought the tv. Nice move Dustin!😅
As long as that guitar was a 360 guitar, you don't need a dongle for it. Nice find on the SNES and Gameboy stuff!
Thanks! I know that's the case on guitar hero. But, is that also the case for rockband.

would of just been better to ask for the entire lot. Maybe they would of let it go for $200 bucks...
100% they were looking to get rid of all of it too. Easily $1k+ there.
Strong work per usual Dustin, keep up the grind brother!
Thank you!

Without spoiling it, I wouldn't call it a full fledged fight. More of an incident or freak out moment.

I'm just curious if you were just gonna make an offer on that game collection in full... what would it be
Probably around $800 for the whole thing if we went that route.

The Xbox 360 guitars sync without a dongle

Borderlands what a great game
For sure, I have it on pc, but figured a dollar for a physical copy was totally worth it.
Would it be worth copying the expensive manuals to sell?❤❤

How much are the dark glass pots worth??❤❤❤😂
Your thumbnail made me click on your video. The suspense is killing me!!!
Are you checking online comps before you buy some of these items? Are you relying entirely on past memory?
It's both memory and checking comps. It depends on the item.

This items im so amazed

How did you find the video game yard sale?
It was during a community sale
Hello from a follower in Finland! I have often wondered why those who sell things usually write down what they sell in a booklet? Is it for their own account or do you have to pay tax on the things?
Often, there are multiple people or families holding a garage sale so they want to know at the end how much does to each person.
